I have the first generation one and while I didn't back it up with a run at the track, it was within performance limits of the Mustang GT and Mazda Protege 5 I used it on.

I am thinking about getting one because I don't have EVIC, and I just got rid of my SC, so I need a good way of timing my self. I tried a cheap accelerometer that I bought for like $50, but it read so inconsistent that I don't believe a thing it tells me.

What he said, except I *did* test it @ Norwalk. I'm not sure about the HP calculations, because my car has never been to the dyno. But I know for a fact that the G-tech was within .1 to .15 on EVERY single pass (I ran 5 times).

I'd love to have the newer one.

I had a lot of fun with the Pro Competition model I have right here.
Works very well actually.

Sure helped me beat CAM's A$$ before he bought a bigger engine!!

Anyone interested, I'll send it out for $125.00 shipped in the original box with PC adapters and the original instructions..

It has the latest updates and is like new.
