So here it goes... Wednesday Mike pm'd me telling me that his car is in the lot at Londonderry Dodge. I went there just wanting to see it but I kinda fell in love with it when I took it for a test drive... They asked 44,000 for the Charger and they offered me 30,000 for my 300C. I figured I'd throw in a credit application. The best thing they were able to get me was 40,000 so they wanted me to put 10,000 down. I guess the SRT is a NO GO for me right now... Oh well I figured I'd share the story with you guys. 300C it is :p plannig some mods for the winter :friday:

Was this a used Charger for $44k???????? At any rate, they were only willing to lend you $10,000??? Or did you not want to give up the C?

Canadian bucks... even with the exchange rate being as close as it is, if it wasn't for that warranty issue, these things are selling for way less south of the border.

The car was listed at 44,000, they were willing to drop the price to 40,000 as long as he could put 10,000 down. so he'd be making payments on 30,000.
Sorry guys but this is the picture i'm gathering. AdyRO applied for credit on the car based on the the fact that he would most likely trade in his car at $30,000 value, which may be what he owes on the car. Just a guess there, so from what I have in mind is that he starts out a whole new loan for the car and they requested $10,000 down to cover the depreciation as he drove it off the lot since the car is only worth $35,000 on trade. And of course them a$$holes will charge GST again even though I had to pay GST to get outta it.
Hey AdyRO if you are still interested in the Charger go in and have a talk with Bill Clark he's my Fleet manager. Are you trying to by it on a loan or a lease. I ended up with a lower intrest rate and only a $1.00 buy out and 0 down when I got the Charger when I chose the lease. But I'm sure you don't want the monster payments I had at $1400.00 month for 4 years. If you do head back just say that you know me and I just passed on his name to you to try and squeeze the deal. Thats if you still want to try to buy it. After only 4 years of dealing with Londonderry Dodge they now say my credit is good for whatever vehicle they make and Bill is really pushing me right now to buy the Viper cause he knows thats the car I'm all over. But he $98,000+ tax = $3000.00 month for 4 years and right now I'm feeling free with no loans.

Yeah you're right. Thanks for the tip Mike.
Did you ask about a posible lease, you can do buy-outs at a dollar ? If you run your own company the right off is alot better up to a max of $800/month. I can't see why they are asking for $10,000 down if you are trading in the 300c that should be enough security unless you misses a payment or two in the past. Hey if by chance you do happen to buy it, let me know I'll sell you the NO FLICKER HID kit from AAC whenever it shows up.
The fleet manager Bill Clark only works weekdays if you want to have talk with him. But I have a funny feeling that the car may not make it through the weekend, when I was signing the papers off on the car there must have been 20+ people drooling all over the wheels. Those wheels will sell the car, otherwise it's no different then looking at the SRT in the front window.
If your still trying for the car , GOOD LUCK and if you show enough intrest they'll try to make it happen.
