I have a Daytona and I am about to do the SRT brake upgrade. So Im trying to find out if 22" TT M's or Foose Nitrous will fit over the SRT brakes.
Any Input would be great.

Snatch,

I'm pretty certain that the Foose Nitrous in 22's will not clear the Brembos. I'm not sure about the Torq Thrusts. Just trying to help. BTW, did you ever find out about Powder Coating vs. Painting?

The Torq Thrust Ms will NOT fit. I speak from direct experience with this disappointing factoid. You'll need a 3MM spacer to get enough clearance for the rotors. I didn't want a spacer (at least at the time, but I'm weakening), so still have stock rims on my MSRT8. Good luck with whatever solution you choose. For my money, there isn't a a better looking rim the the Torq Thrust M. That is however, just my worthless opinion.

I agree about the TT M's looking great. I saw them on MoJo's white charger and they looked great!

I just wish the 20"s came w/o a "stepped lip" on the outer rim edge like the 22" does.

Exactly the same way I feel. The lip just kills it for me. 32Noir, why didnt you want to get spacers?

Thanks for all the input

I chose to not use a spacer because I find it to be a somewhat non-elegant/clunky solution. I know that few people have problems with them but have avoided it for my personal comfort level. That said, I'm thinking more and more that a spacer is the only way to get rims I actually like. I've also thought about the powder coated route with my stock rims, but don't want the car tied up while the rims are being done.

Ok

I have Foose 20's 20x8.5 and 20x10 ( +15 and +20) from my RT I did the brake upgrade and the foose will clear with the 3mm on the front.

The problem I am having is that with the knuckle kicks out the rear wheels a bit and with the SRT suspetion I will hit the rear fender lip with the 295's

As it stands I typically try to talk people out of doing the brakes from an SRT. Its a crap load of work, you have a limited pad selection and it fubars your wheel selection because of the weird offsets.

While more expensive the WilWood kit you can do in stages and have a MUCH better pad selection and you dont have to screw up your wheel selection as much. Just a suggestion from someone that has done the swap.

Im pretty sure I have heard Ernie over at 402 say that the 22 Foose Nitrous will not fit SRT8.

Yes, they clear. You need a 3 mm (have you ever looked at how small that is?) spacer so the side of the caliper is cleared. There's lots of room everywhere else.

Go look at how thick 3 mm is... Not very. I have zero concerns and it works great.

I have the same wheels on an SRT and the 275's clear fine on the back.

Im pretty sure I have heard Ernie over at 402 say that the 22 Foose Nitrous will not fit SRT8.

Ernie's the one that showed the Nitrous fit with the 3 mm spacer...

Does that help?

FWIW....I'm running 20x8.5 and 20x10 Foose Nitrous on my SRT, 3mm spacer in the front and 255 in the front and 295 in the back....I have no issues what so ever and been running this setup for about a year so far.
