Looks like a charger to me.

Why would they have a charger and a magnum sedan though? Seems redundant.

Umm, I vote Charger...

"Why would they have a charger and a magnum sedan though? Seems redundant."
Indeed it does, that's why there won't be a Magnum Sedan, so they say.

definatly charger, can tell it's not the magnum sedan by the rear window and windows on the rear door, the rear window sweeps back more and the rear door window come to a point in the back, the magnum sedan would just be the same as the 300 as far as those go.

The headlights look like the Charger ones. And you can see that little swooping-up thing at the back of the car... (whatever it's called)...

 Based on the evidence Ive seen Im convinced the car in the photos above is the new Charger, good bad 0r indifererent. The profile of the windows is similar to the car and driver mag drawing and the pics at Jayski of the new charger tested by casey mears. The nascar is going to have a general diferent look as it has to fit the templates and the nascar profile is a lot sleaker than the production car. the race car lights are laid back and the grille is slid down. 90% of the body is the same as the existing Intepid race car. The car above has the grille shape as the car & driver car. So its not a Magnum sedan, a chalanger or coronet. It the charger we are getting. Good bad or indiferent.

I think this is the Charger. But, that doesn't mean that there won't be a Magnum sedan. We know that there is definately going to be a Magnum wagon offered for Police duty. The door is still open for a Magnum sedan to be available only for Police, Taxi, Rental and Fleet duty. This would be a good thing for LX owners to help protect their cars resale values. Dodge Magnum Enforcer or just Dodge Enforcer. Not a bad name for a Police cruiser.

I resized them
Thanks DMAG
But if you could get in the car and drive it over to where the camera is,
Yah...that'd be great!

These probably were taken with a very long telephoto lens, or maybe just a cell phone camera. Still, that is not a 300, and it fits the descriptions we have read.

Ant, you didn't resize the first picture correctly, it's all tall-ish... Lol...

Anywho, I think it's great, I love they style (more then the Magnum).

same reason Chrysler had the New Yorker/LHS/300M/Concorde overlapping in various capacities over the years...or the Fifth Avenue/Imperial/New Yorker... etc, etc, etc...

different trim levels

but I do doubt Dodge will have 2 sedans with different names

I always thought the Charger looked like a Magnum in a sedan

I'm not sure if any one considered this, but the intrepid is getting restyled. In my opinion that will be the intrepid. Dodge will not make the charger with out the signature charger c pillars and even FROM the pic its easy to tell that it has typical c pillars with a flush mounted window

Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler is the worst for renaming and recycling names. Remember the Duster/Demon/Dart/???

I lost track of the names that car had but can you blame a company that's grown FROM an identity crisis?
Look wayyyy back to see the different company/badge names they have had over the last 30+ years.

AMC
Jeep
Eagle
Chrysler
Plymouth
Dodge
And if you go back further try tearing apart AMC and you'll have another dozen companies/brands.

Paul.

The car in the photo is 95% 2006 Charger.

Paul, Ford and Chevy are just as bad...or worse. Can you say Camaro, Impala, GTO, Corvette, Nova, Chevelle, Mustang (remember the lovely Mustang II's off the Capri body?), Thunderbird, Crown Victoria...

Anyway, that's the 2006 Charger or I'm a monkey's uncle. Sad to say, but Dodge designers did a full 180 degrees FROM the beauty of a concept they put forth in 1999, and stole all the styling elements of the new Mustang and borrowed rear sheetmetal and parts FROM the existing 300M/Intrepid. It looks like a 4-door Mustang coming and passing, and looks like an Intrepid going.

From the C&D sketch, it appeared to have the Intrepid taillights.
Would there be any reason not to assume that the Intrepid just
gets replaced by the Charger? I do remember some old rumors
about an "Interpid Charger". Perhaps it is just "Charger" now.
