Based on the extras that come with the 300c vs. the limited edition, I consider the 300c a better deal for all the extras (larger motor, manual tiptronic, suspension, hubcaps, etc).

My only concern is the fuel economy. I understand the best I'll get is around 14 city, which is what I primarily do.

Can anyone tell me what they are getting on a 300 with the 260hp engine in the city/hwy?

Any problems with either model and has anyone really had significant issues?

Is the extended warranty worth getting and if so, which one and how much were you able to get it for.

Thanks,

Also with the around town milage, you are buying a big car. Lets say you get 20 mpg with the V6 and 15mpg with the V8.

That seems like a lot. Lets say you drive 10K a year. And this morning at my local pump, plus is $1.80 ish. The difference in gas milage would add up to a total yearly expendature of an extra $300 for the V8.

10K miles/15 mpg = 666 gals bought / year. = $1200 year in gas.

10K miles/20 mpg = 500 gals / year = $900 year in gas.

For $300, my a$$ is riding around in a hemi!

I also got the extended coverage cause I don't really trust chryslers. So I haven't needed it yet, and I hope I never do. But my friends who own chryslers/dodges say thay have gotten much better in the last few years.

Thanks for the reply. How much was the extended coverage warranty and which type did you get?

Also, any problems at all yet with your car?

I did buy the 7 year bumper to bumper coverage. It was a chrysler one, not some 3rd party thing and I paid $900ish for it.

So far my 300C has gone in for a blown interior bulb (they replaced it), a sticky right rear door and a mis-alligned moon roof. They fixed everything and broke the sunshade so it's going back in agian.

It only went in once. These were not things that broke, but were things that were wrong FROM the factory that I didn't notice till after the frist week of jublation wore off. Then I started looking real hard. I wouldn't be so pissed if they hadn't broke the sunshade while fixing the moon rook alignment.
