Well at least most of it!
Starting tomorrow a straight run to Moncton, for 2 nights, then to PEI for the day then to Halifax for 2, then to Cape Breton for 2 and then one night in Fredericton on the way home.
I am really looking forward to it. I have been east many times for work, but you never get time to look around. It is such a beautiful part of Canada, and I have never had the oppurtunity to really enjoy it.
The full experience will be limited a little, since we are bringing the puppy and she will not be able to stay in the rooms alone. Maybe in the cottage on Cape Breton we can swing it for a nice dinner or two.
Any suggestions for must sees?
So far it is:
Hopewell Rocks
Fundy National Park
Peggy's Cove
Lunnenburg
Cabot Trail
Cape Bretons Highlands National Park
Drive over to PEI for the day to kick around
Citadel
All the Seafood I, I mean we can eat:mrgreen:
Thanks in advance for any input!:friday:

Have a good time! My parents are there as we speak (they go every year). Left Moday and are doing almost the same route as you (minus Halifax). I cant wait till our daughter is a little older and we can go as well. I love it out there!

Hey do you have the SRT rims on the car still? I seen a Mag like yours here in Halifax the other day but it had I think flat black rims instead.

The same rims as the photo are on it, alittle dirty but not flat black dirty.
I have been in Halifax since yesterday, just got back from Peggy's Cove. Just the nicest roads and scenery around here, you are very lucky IMHO.
Tomorrow morning we head off to Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail.

My cousin is leaving today for a week in PEI. He's driving a new silver Tacoma with 14 day Maine plates. Eat lotsa lobster! If you see a silver Tacoma with temp Maine plates blow his doors off.

I was just there yesterday and had a good time. The drive up to Glace Bay on the Marconi trail is nice too. And the Marconi Historical site is a nice little stop.

We never made it to Louisberg, but had a really fun drive around the Cabot trail. They got hit wit a pretty good storm which made for some wild photos, and challenging driving.
In Frederickton for the night then heading home tomorrow.
I wish I had a fat bank account and another month to see it all, I really could see me retiring down here.
Maybe prepping a car for the Targa:thumbs_u:

It is a beautiful area down there.
I wish I could figure out how to afford to live there.
The Magnum was happy, even in the rain.

The Cabot trail is really something. You go from sea level to 1500ft above a couple times.
I did the Rookies in the spring and this was as good or better a drive than them.
I am in Winnipeg this week, boring, flat and straight! Plus 100kms speed limits.
Most of the roads in Cape Breton and most of Nova Scotia are 110kph:thumbs_u:
It was a Rainy Day!

Great shots Dale.... For some strange reason I love watching a good storm roll in off the ocean. Driving in it? Ummm no.
