ITINERARY: We will all meet at William Hawrelak Park Site#3 Parking area closest to the road. We will M&G for appx 2 hours and then maybe a short cruise to an A&W and we will cruise the DUB.
CONCEPT: For people with many different interests in cars to come together and have a good time.

I hope that everyone can make the time to come out to this event. As some of you are heading south, this is an opportunity for some that are staying in Edmonton to get out. I know it is a Saturday Night, so I hope we can persuade those weekly party animals to come out for a couple of hours with us not so party animals. This is a completely informal M&G. I have been to several Alberta Sites over the last year and have seen many very nice cars and talked to many very nice people, so coming from the Far East (Nova Scotia) it is nice to see. I look forward to meeting you all.

they leave Aug 26 from south Edmonton and going to calgary, I heard there was goin to be about 1000 cars from Edmonton alone.

No i never brought my camera, but it was cool to chat with people with different cars.

So are u planning on joining the cool cars for cancer cruise (small town)

I'm about 95% yes right now, I have so many things going on right now. This weekend at the race track for the Mopar meet Fri and Sat, then Aug 11th in Airdrie for a car show, posibly a M&G in Red Deer the same weekend. But yes there is a good chance I will, maybe some Calgary members may want to drive up to Edmonton for the start of the run and Cruise back to Calgary.

While I was down in Calgary I was saying to some of the members I was thinking about racing back up to Edmonton for the other meet. I just didn't have enough time to make it back to meet you guys. Don't worry about the camera thing, I forgot mine 3/4 the way down to Calgary as well.:doh:

Hey Skeet have you checked out what time this event starts at ?? 5-6am at IKEA on the south side. They also mentioned that car clubs are welcome, but i'm not sure we could get all that many people interested for that early in the morning. This is also a pre-register. Ya they meet at 5 and leave at 6, but this thing is goin to be big, i heard that this was going in the record Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest meet of mixed cars and trucks. As for for being registered i was reading on the 780Tuners page that they are letting people do it the morning of the event but they say there is a limited number of forms so im faxing mine off today. I just think this would be a great way to get the club on the map and let others know about us and im sure we will get a lot more members.:thumbs_u:

I'm just trying to figure a way to involve our Calgary members for a drive home. 5-6am would be a challenge for them. I really don't have a problem with the time myself, 98% now sure the wife and I are driving both our cars down. It is definately a good cause. I would post a thread directly towards this event but I'm not 100% sure I can make it and not showing to an event that I post doesn't show me as being a team player.

LOL, ya it would be hard but there is already a bunch of cars going to be leaving Calgary just to drive up here and drive back so maby you should just ask the calgary guys and see what they say.
