Yup, love mine too.
Gets up and hits the speed limiter in what seems like a fairly short timeframe, and gave me 25MPG US on a 3100 mile trip with 4 of us in the car and the trunk jammed full.

We would be glad to submit the AIRHAMMER H.O. to independent testing performed by the administration of LXFORUMS, just say when!!

My Gas card loves the 3.5
My insurance Co. loves the 3.5
I would really like to see some side by side comparisons between the Airhammer

Ebay special
I want to buy a CAI to compliment my dual exhaust and Jet II, just want to be sure I am spending it on the right one. :thumbs_u:

x2 on the 3.5 I love my car and the incremental upgrades from my mods.
The Airhammer HO sure seems like the one to put money on... just have to get in line ;)
I have an AirAid and have been noticing 'em on the used market. I'm a bit alarmed that the top of the filter is getting dirtiest, hope it's just the airflow pattern and not the mat on the underside of the hood slowly deteriorating and getting sucked into the filter...
Want to buy my AirAid ? ;) I think I'm getting in line for the Airhammer HO soon.. or doing something about the mat, maybe coating it with something.

All the Hemi guys would be scared to see what numbers we make with all our mods, becuase one day, without nitrous, we should be able to take a stock r/t.

My 300 Touring is the best car I've had since my 71 Lincoln. I am 6"5' and can stretch out my legs on a long trip. Also fantastic to customize with lots of options. Second childhood? Never dear!!!

You know, so far I love my SXT. I feel like it can get up and go without hesitation (unlike my Dakota, even with the mods for the 4.7L). The only thing I'm not liking so far is how quiet it is.
My Dak had a Magnaflow dual split catback system that I had customized. I loved how it sounded at start up. Can't wait to do the samething to my car with a bunch of other mods.

Sorry you guys didn't get any 'official' response on this thread. I know I missed it and probably CV did as well.
MFO tests are member supported, and the bottom line for getting stuff tested has always come from members' wallets. Dyno time doesn't come free or even cheap. So then the real question (or rather the first question that you need to get past) is whether or not there is enough V6 member support (as in donated cash) to pay for dyno tests.
Is there? There were attempts to give the V6 guys some love at MFO5 -- as in helping to develop headers -- and it fell flat on its face when it came time to turn talk into action. All the V6 suddenly went into hiding when it came time to step up and we had to drop the idea.

Hmm well... all I know is:
- JBA developed shorty headers for the 3.5 and by all accounts they sold out their 1st run in short order and continue to sell as many as they can make.
- The owner of Diablo Motorsports mentioned that the Predator tuner is on the "roadmap" for the 3.5 while 3.5 owners continue to hammer their forum and email to get it done.
I bought the headers and I'd preorder the Predator if I could.
There's plenty of interest in the 3.5 ... after all it was the enthusiast Mopar engine in the 90s and in its current incarnation it's enough to push around our 4000 lb rear wheel drive boats ;)
As far as paying for tests... that's unfortunately beyond my abilities but I'm certainly interested in seeing dyno tests for 3.5 upgrades, particularly when they're installed together.

I hear you, but reality is what it is. Some of your 3.5 brethren were quite put out at their fellow owners when their fellow owners essentially wussed out.
And I misspoke in my earlier post. It was not headers that were being developed, but heads. Frank Racing was going to do them along with the 5.7 heads back at MFO5.
Like I said -- and don't think I am directing my comments at you ChargLex -- talk is cheap. We've heard this before and seen it go nowhere when it comes time to stop posting and start doing. If things have changed that would be great.

for dynos...how much are people talking about donating?
i dont have a problem with kicking out some cash.... i also dont have a problem with installing parts, even if they need to be modded. i started with the strut brace, figure to do more suspension. currently talking with people back at my old forums to see if i can get my own pulleys machined.
so far its seeming that if you want something done, gotta go out and DIY.... i do agree talk is cheap. and i can name at least 50 guys who (n the old forum for my other car) that are still talking 7 years later down the road on "i'm gonna do this that and this".
here it is, i've learned, made mistakes, came, saw, built, tuned, and left to move on to the charger....and they're still jossin around with intakes and TB's....
i know most dyno places are 65-100 for 3 runs.... 1 hour usually runs 120-140 but its unlimited runs.
if 4 people chuck in a 1/4 or a 1/5th piece... theres one hour roughly....
i plan to throw out more dynos soon. i re-found a local place that runs dynapacks, which are usually accurate enough to note sparkplug changes or jet changes with nitrous, etc... http://www.dynapackusa.com/repeatability.htm
i figure here is gonna be no different than it was when i payed 700$ in a single year for 14 different alignment settings :)

I pay about $40-$50 for 3 runs here in Miami. They already know me by name with the times I've dyno'd my Mag there. lol

My insurance Co. loves the 3.5
This may suprise you, but atleast with Geico my SRT8 costs me about $45 less to insure then my SXT did ($155 vs $110/mo). They only have listings for the SE and R/T and since the SE doenst come with traction control and the R/T does Geico will insure the R/T for less. As Far as Geico is concerned i have a 2007 R/T.
