A thought about LXOM for you to chew on. As has been pointed out already, it's less about the ride and more about the contributions the member makes to the overall online community. And ...now read carefully..... I'm about to share a secret ingredient. It will work for you, and give you the very best shot of getting yet another "300 LXOM."

Let's call it Nomination Consistency. Here's how it works:

Say you've all nominated a member and that member gets to be voted on, along with the other 4 or 5 contestants, for LXOM and "your guy" doesn't win that particular month. Fine. KEEP NOMINATING THAT MEMBER in the following months so the LXForums community gets to know, and understand why, that member is worthy of the title.

Solidarity is the key here. All too often enough members nominate a member to get him/her in the running one month and then, when someone else wins that month, don't get it together enough to even nominate "their guy" ever again.

Time and time again, a member will get so close to winning LXOM, and then never even get close to being in the run-off in the following months. It's like they are abandoned by their supporters.

There you have it. Nomination Consistency. Keep united, keep telling us why we should vote for "your guy." Repeat. Repeat again. :thumbs_u:
