Hello 300C owners,

I've been admiring the 300C factory option for driver and passenger side rear-view mirrors with built-in turn signals, courtesy lights, and auto-dim glass and I'm currently researching to see if it is feasible to retrofit my 2006 Charger R/T with these mirrors.

My question to the owners out there with this option is this:

Are these mirrors also heated for a convenient auto defrost on cold days? My Charger's mirrors are heated, and I don't know if I want to take the plunge if the replacement mirrors are not.

Thanks for your time.

Greg

according to wiring diagram, the 300C premium mirrors feature; auto-dim, power folding, heated, memory, tilt in reverse, turn signal and puddle lamp.

I've got the turn signal mirrors on my '07. I don't believe they are heated (assume heated = part of defrost?).

The mirror itself is power folding but the entire assembly is not power folding (like the UK spec).

The heating feature is part of the rear defrost, not the windshield defrost. Thats how most all of them work. My Charger Daytona and my Neon work that way. :)

Can you post a pic of the turn signals in the mirror thanks

huh? if the entire mirror+housing unit does not fold back electrically, what then is 'power folding'?

Power folding means its a power mirror for adjustment and a folding mirror when you need to fold it out of the way. The two words are separate. It should read power AND folding.

I'll try and post some pics of 'em before the weekend. I was really disappointed by the whole "power folding" thing. I wanted mirrors like the UK spec. Their adjustment knob also also powers the folding in of the mirrors. Never could get a straight answer on what it the '07 feature actually did...until mine arrived. hehe
