Thanks guys, it was fun tearing up Albert's car on Saturday. The header install went pretty smooth until I had the passenger side completely on and noticed that the motor mount was still on the ground. We managed to stuff it back in by jacking up the motor a a few more pumps, I though we might have to start that side over again........

We got finished in time to relax a while before I hit the track in Forza2 on X-Box live with the LX grew....

Seriously, learned a lot from Brett on doing this job. I swear, Brett's like the energizer bunny...just going and going...

Walter, I was impressed. You got down and dirty. And that water puddle sure felt nice and cool. ha ha

I agree with everyone, that Saturday was fun and informative. I learned a few things about the header install, so when I need to do mine, I'll be ready. Plus I spent a good portion of the day with a great bunch of guys.

I'm amazed at how you work. You go non-stop. You don't dwell between different tasks. I've worked on cars with many people, and most will do one task, lull for awhile before they start on the next task. With you, there is no stopping between tasks. I think that this is great, 'cause it makes the others try to keep up with you. You are one of a kind. And how could I forget your hospitality for letting us use your house to do the work and even feeding us three slightly overweight guys. LOL :mrgreen:

Andrew, don't let looks deceive you. I'm always more than willing to get my hands dirty. If you check my hands, you'll see I have workers hands, not office boy hands. I've been working around cars since I was a young pup. I must admit that I don't have the energy I used to have, but I can tear a complete car down and back together, if need be. I'm more than willing to help on any project that any member has. I'm good with my hands and even better with my head. Oh yea, and keep the rubber hangers away from me. LOL :mrgreen:

Albert, I need to thank you for letting me learn on your car. I've always had good luck working on other peoples cars, but always seem to have too many stupid problems when I work on my cars. I can't explain it. But anyways, I now have a good knowledge of header installation on LX cars. I bet that with this new knowledge and a lift, the whole exhaust system can be changed over in less than 3 hours with 2-3 people. I also need to thank you for your old cat-back system. I installed it today after work, by myself, using a lift, in less than one hour. Of course, all the co-workers that I always help out on their cars, all had to leave and couldn't help me. I'll remember them when they need help again.

All in all, Saturday was great, even though I spent all day Sunday, with arm and leg pains (where's the Advil). I'm up for the next time anyone needs help. Don't be shy to ask. Or better yet, who's up for helping me get up off my behind and get my '73 Challenger up and running again. :rock:

So it didn't take you very long to put on that cat-back... and what are your thoughts on the system??? It is always great to hear eveyone thoughts about the JBA... also just an hour to get it done by yourself...SWEET!!! Just make sure that everything is tight because we know it wasn't on my car... and that all the bolts are on as well... Did you mark the rubber this time??? LOL

That JBA sounds super sweet. Nice deep throaty sound when accelerating from a stop. And no drone at freeway speeds like the Blastin Bobs had. They sound like a muscle car should sound. :rock:

All bolts tight and I'll check them in about a week.

This time I positioned the rubber hangers down in a way that it was impossible for me to mess up. :roll:

BTW, changing it over using the lift is so much easier. Your welcome to come use them whenever you want. Just let me know. They are in North Hollywood.
