Anyone know of a good and reasonable place to take my car to get the high flow cats installed? Looking in Orange or LA County...

Where's this place? I couldn't find a listing. How much did he charge you and for what?

Thanks everyone. Any of the places you guys recommended know how to raise the exhaust a little to keep if from hitting speed bumps and the like? My Corsa sits pretty low, especially the clamps/bolts in the middle.
I've heard of the technique of loosening the bolts that connect the headers to the mids and then using a jack to lift it before tightening back down. Have any of these guys done this before?

I really like the Zoomers, but they are a cat-back system, not high flow cats. Our car is lowered and we do not have any problems with the exhaust hitting on bumps unless we go over a major dip too fast.

Will it pass smog if you put high flow cats on?
Will she sound better with that too?

High flow cats are not legal in Kalifornia, but you could put them on, then in five years when you need to smog, put the originals back on. It will sound better and you'll have quicker throttle response.
BTW, I went to API in Rancho Santa Margarita. He did a great job!

Does anyone have some prices from these recommended places?
I know I'm up North a bit, but I'd like to get an idea of what you SoCalLXers are paying for a JBA header install with maybe high flow cats.
Thanks....

The place I mentioned above will install the JBA shorty headers for $300. As for the high flows, that would be illegal for anyone in Kalifornia to do the install and could be a HUGE fine. I could help you "brainstorm" and I'm sure we could come up with something if you PM me.
