Will the stock SRT struts/shocks bolt up to an R/T, I understand they are better than the R/T's (made by bilstien)? I need dampers and am considering buying the ST coilovers but I do like my Hotchkis springs and the stance, it's just my stockers are going, and no one makes replacements yet except Eibach and they are expensive! Might as well get the coilovers!
Wondering if they will fit, cost new at the dealer (or ?), or even low mile take off's from one of your fine SRT's! Any help appreciated! If I can save here then I can get the rotors I want!

The ST's can ride at the same height as the Hotchkis springs, they're adjustable. But yes, the SRT shocks bolt on.

Thanks Super T, yes I knew the ST's are adjustable - they are also a grand! How do you like your Hotchkis sways? See, if I save on the dampers and still get good performance I can get the other goodies too!

The sways are killer. They made a HUGE difference on my RT, but I traded it less than 2 weeks after I put 'em on. They make a big difference on the SRT too, but not quite as noticeable due to the better shocks/springs. I say just get new dampers. Careful w/ the rears... the SRT dampers are self-leveling... so if the Hotchkis springs are a different height than the SRT springs, the shocks will pick the car back off and you'll get some potentially weird handling in the back.

Oh no no, can't have that! The hotchkis drop about 1.5" which I think is a tad lower than the stock SRT springs. When I bought my springs it said they would not work with the self leveling shocks.

I saw your thread Mike great job! My thing is that I already have the springs.... man I wish I would have just got the coilovers in the first place but I'm always trying to do stuff on the cheap!

Thanks man! I'm worried about how the SRT dampers will be with my Hotchkis springs, I think mines lower than yours...you can take me for a ride so I can feel those sways!!

When you get the SRT shocks the same person will probably also have the springs... do both at once and then sell the hotchkis springs. Maybe?

hmmm....probably not low enough for me, I really like the way mine sits with the Hotchkis springs
