window tint

I have a dark blue 300C and I was thinking a light grey/silver window tint would look on it. Like the new Caddy's have. Thoughts?

So no one likes the grey tint the European cars have from the factory? The kind that looks slightly green when you walk up close to it?

ok so I tried to find some photos of a caddy with silver tint but no luck .....


My thoughts are that silver tint only looks good on a silver car. Dark blue I think would look great with dark tint

50% is the legal limit in minnesota... i went with 20% all around... cops dont hassle ya about tint where i live.. but the state patrol HATES it..

my friend keeps tryin to get me to retint my windows with that silver stuff... but I agree with everyone so far... the darker.. the better...

Actually yea, I did a 10 inch tint strip on the front to cover up where the mirror black goes down on the windshield... so the tint is actually all the way around:banana:

Right now I have 20% sides and on the back window but I am going to be doing my windsheild 28 - 30% in a couple of weeks. Thank God I don't drive my car that much :mrgreen:

Nice! I wish I could do the whole window, but in Minnesota.. 50% is the legal limit for tint... So the fact that I have 20 all the way around pisses the police off enough.. I think if I tried to roll around with the whole front window tinted...the police would mess with me like crazy.. As is, they tend to not even give me a second look... I guess I never pay much attention to Euro cars to notice their tint. I'm a 15% fan.

Black it out! As everyone is saying ... The darker the tint, the better. I got 20% (my states legal limit) and wish I had 5%.
