How to tell if AWD or RWD Rims?

How can I tell if 18 inch RT rims are AWD or RWD. I'm going tonight to pick some up and they guy got them trough another person and he doesn't know.

If they look like mine, they are AWD.

if you can lay a ruler across the face of the wheel and slide a pack of smokes between the ruler and the hub center.... they are not AWD!

Damn that means I gotta start smoking now? So there is an offset in the rims I should look for? I was hoping there was some kinda code or maybe something that is stamped on the inside wall of the rim.

yeah, RWD have the slot in the spoke, AWD are solid spokes.

the rwd wheels look more like bowl...whereas the awd wheels look more straight...in simple mans terms:D

or... if the wheel sticks out like this, then your car is an AWD and the wheel is RWD: :) :doh:
