Please post pics of your car, rims you have, size of rims, and offset that you are running on the front and rear wheels.... Thanks for the help.... I am a couple days away from placing the down-payment for my custom staggered wheels (22x9 and 22x10.5), but I just wanted to make sure that I am going with the correct offset (15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear) and wanted to see how they would look also.... Thanks....

Thanks anyways..... I am almost positive that the offset I am going with is correct, but I just want it to be confirmed by somebody else to be able to rest my nerves after dropping all this money on the wheels... Once the wheels come in that is what I get and if the offset is incorrect I will have to :blam:.... Thanks for the help and your cars are looking great!!!!

BTW, Keep the pics and info coming!!!!!

I can't seem to find any wheel that are 20x10, most of them are 20x8.5, what options are out there with 20x8.5 and 20x10? (which one are the lightest?)

Same question applies to BOOGIE, since he has the same set-up.

If you want light wheels, look for forged / 3 piece wheels. The one piece construction of the Foose wheels will make them heavy, a forged wheel will be a lot lighter because of the forging process. The only downside to forged wheels is they can be expensive!

What size tire do they make for the front 22x9 that will match what is on MR.J's back 10.5s? I don't like the look of different sized tires, sidewall and thickness wise.

Man, I am no help on this one. I wasn't real concerned about weight when I got these. I was looking for a wheel I liked first and I paid over 500 a piece so I don't consider these non expensive wheels. How much do they slow me down in the 1/4? I don't know, some I'm sure. but I don't race to make money, I race for fun and with what I've got planned for my car in the future wheel weight isn't going to matter a whole lot to me.

My research has shown me that the forged will be lighter, but way more expensive.

There are staggered 20's out there, they are just not as common. At first glance people dont really notice the staggered set up, then they are like WOW look at the width of those rear tires.

FWIW I think there is a dyno test somewhere around here comparing the stock RT wheels to the 20" Foose Nitrous. And I THINK there was not much if any difference in performance. I do know I have more grip than before.

I did and I have all of the specs, but I just want to make sure for my own curiosity and also for the amount of money I am paying for the wheels that the specs that were giving to me are the correct ones..... Also I just wanted to ask a few people on the forums to be on the safe side..... But I would guess with the supposed "great customer service and knowledge of wheels" that you have you would be able to help a fellow forum member out, but you never do..... Thanks....

Oh he does help people out Jman45, but since you said we have such great customer service knowledge of wheels then why wouldnt you be buying them from us? We only answer questions of people who are interested in making a purchase from us. A lot of poeple on this forum have ordered from 402 and have been very pleased with the outcome. The rim shop you are buying from should tell you the offsets and if they dont know your in trouble.

I didn't say that you guys have "great customer service and knowledge of wheels," that is what I've heard, but anyways I am not buying them from you because you guys can't beat the price that I have been giving, and trust me I have looked around....
I always thought that a forum was a place where people could talk about certain things and receive info from people on there, so I would guess that since you being a supporting vendor could offer some help, but I guess not, but it's fine with me because I have gotten plenty of help from the LX family..... All I'm saying is why would he even post in my thread if he wasn't going to offer me any help??? Makes no sense... Have a great day Joe!!!

he posted in the thread because the first 2 people said to ask ernie since they got our wheels from us. And somtimes cheaper isnt always better because the place you are buying from obviously isnt giving you the information you need. When people buy from us, we go above and beyond to provide quality customer. And if there ever is a problem we do our best to correct it and take good care of our customers. Cant put a price on that. And many people here can attest to that. Have a good day Jman.

06-16-2007, 03:50 PM
And I did ask Ernire and he never replied.... I even sent him a PM.... I know that many people here say that you have great service, but that sure wasn't showing it.... But also If you would have read my other post carefully I wrote that they have given me all of the info, but that i was just asking out of curiosity and just wanted to make sure for my self-consciousness.... The people that I am dealing with have excellent customer service and they've never failed to show it, so on that matter it isn't problem....

Here's a place you can get those tire pressure sensors at if you need a spare set.

www.moparpartz.com (http://www.moparpartz.com)

I'll post pics of my wheels once they're completed. I picked up a set of 22"s from 402Motoring. They didn't offer wheel I wanted as an option at first but became a vendor just for me. This is before I committed to buying the wheels. The price 402 quoted me for the wheels and tires, color matched centers, tps-installation, mounting and balancing and shipping was too good to pass up. Quotes I received while shopping around for the same or lesser setup were beyond the 8K mark.

The s10's everyone is ordering are one piece wheels, hence the sub 3g price tag. The r5's are part of there new multi-piece wheels and will most definately be more than 500 a piece...start at at least 1g/wheel.
