Can yall help a newbie out?

What are some of the MUST do mods to the 300C?

Currently on my list from reading is.

1)Leather Console Cover 22elite
2)HID Headlights 8000K 9006
3)Chrome 3157 Bulbs (on order)
4)Nav Hack (will order Friday)

Any other little things that make the 300c better?

I just picked this 300c up over the weekend.

2005 300C Silver, Navigation, U-Connect, and tons of other stuff. I am liking it more and more i drive it

I have been around trucks and cars for a long time, I know there is all kinds of stuff everyone does to the different autos that make them better

Hey Big K...What are you looking to do...Are you looking for performance or looks or BOTH....Thats the big question..?

Intake for sure, wake up the car's response to a good kick in the throttle. Airhammer is more or less the undisputed champion, but the AFE Stage II is about as good. Mopar makes a great one as well. Superchips would be a good purchase, but you may want to hold out and see what the Diablo programmers bring. Window tint? That always looks nice. Some swaybars will make it feel like a whole new car, that's for sure. And some Billet Tech. goodies will make your engine bay instantly show-worthy.

Yea, Been reading about the AirHammer.

Tint is going on this week, can't have a car in Texas without it!

Any more info on the Diablo stuff?

Recommended Sway Bar kit?

Been looking at Blasting Bob's also, any good?

shorty headers, High flow cats, a tuner, AirHammer. In any order.

Then play with mufflers after you've put a few thousnad miles on that setup - you may decide that that setup is cool enough after living with it for a while.

Then you can start spending -real- money on it...

You might want to do a search but they should come off easy in the HOT MN sun. Only issue are ghosting affect shouldn't be that bad on a sliver car and bubbling but I haven't heard of the bubble affect on the 300's.

there are a lots of threads on this but here is the post of my experience

I sprayed the molding with goo gone first, then heated the molding with a hair dry. I went inside the house for a minute and my sister inlaw peeled the molding off with her fingers while I was gone. It came off really easy. wiped the goo off and would have been done but....

Turns out my door had been painted and they taped over the molding. This leaves a outline of the molding that can not be buffed out as it is two different paints. If you have owned the car since new you shouldnt have any problems.

lucky I bought new tape and put the molding back on the car.

so basicly the molding is just stuck to the side of the door with double sided tape. It peels right off most of the time.

too true! im not a big fan of the factory grille...

Looks like I might have to take off the side moldings once and see how it looks... if it doesnt turn out right, They'll just hafta go back on with 3M doublesided tape..:hammer:

Yea, I don't care for the factory grille either, but not sure what I want just yet.

It has to be gone though LOL

Sway bars - Hotchkis or Eibachs. Either one will improve your performance.

Blastin' Bob's are good stuff. Inexpensive and nice quality. If you want to be noticed but don't want it to be loud, go for like the 5dB/6dB. If you like some noise, 7dB or higher is for you.

Radar detector!!!! You may not have an SRT, but you can get to 100 mph before you even know it.

As for the rear lip spoiler - don't buy it at the dealership. Everything (ok, not everything, but nearly everything) is damn near double in price as you could find it elsewhere!
