I see guys from time to time asking about this and having been into show, car clubs and stuff like that for quite a while down here I thought I'd post a couple.
Prospect Muffler Shop (they're in the book) & ask for Billy. They do all the work for the local street rod scene, do stainless, mandrel bend, fair prices and do quality work.
Pin Striping. There is a truck stop just north of Griffin Rd on Rt 27. Ask for a guy named Reed. He lives out there and pinstripes trucks all week. Will work on cars and his rates are real reasonable.
Dodge Service; University Dodge in Davie, mod friendly and their internet salesman Rafi is the best for no B.S. wheeling & dealing.
Hope it helps....

I'll have more info regarding University Dodge by the end of the week... I got a call today from them, and they are eager to help us out!!
I'm still getting a grasp on how "mod-friendly" they are... i.e. limited to catbacks versus head/cam swap)
I'll let you all know!!

I don't think anyone can stray too far from the DCX guidelines which I understand are becoming more & more restrictive as we speak. That's the only hassle I can find.
The first time I took the Mag there when I had the pre-Zoomer REAL loud pipes they had 3/4 of the shop out there digging the sound. Same with the CAI and other mods, half the guys were out there checking them out.
Are they gonna say "boy that's cool" if they find a mod screwed something up you want fixed under warrenty?? Lets get real :Na_Na_Na_Na:

Yeah, I remember walking into University Dodge when I was shopping for my Charger SRT-8. They were asking 15,000 over MSRP. I rather deal with the service over at Maroone Dodge in Pembroke Pines.

Like everywhere there's quite a turnover with the service reps so getting a solid contact in service is a good thing. Go Mike :not_worth
I dealt with the internet guy (Rafi) at University and got my Magnum R/T at something like $1,600 over dealer cost with free oil changes for life in late '05. Fairbanks & Marooonie were so preditory the wife & I jeer at their TV commercials to this day after having dealings with both (been in the Ft Laud area 20+ years). Put a gun to my head and I still wouldn't deal with either. :blam:

Bought my first Dodge from University a few years back. Never had such lousey service anywhere. Both from salesman, manager and service reps. Wouldn't take another vehicle from them if even for free.

I got mine in Maroone. My uncle is a salesman. They are kinda mod friendly. When they heard my exhaust they loved it.
