Mission Raceway, BC May 11, 2007 Firday Night Street Legals

I've been planning for while to make my way out to the track and pull out the old measuring stick. Remember to get there early because it fills up really quick.

MOPAC Friday Night Street Legal Spectators and Racers:
Gates open at 4:30 p.m., racing starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at approx. 11:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
Spectator admission - $5.00
Racer admission - $25.00 (includes car & driver)
Children 12 and under always FREE with an adult
Parking always FREE
Please note that tech cards will be sold from 5:00 p.m. until dark, or 7:30 p.m. (there is a 225 maximum count on race car entries).
No spectators are permitted to park in the Pit area.
Mission residents 19 and over admitted free (spectators only, not racers) with picture ID showing Mission address (under 19 must be accompanied by an adult).

Well, here is my first post on here. Went out to mission tonight and met a few guys from around here. Had a great time. First pass i got a 13.5 @106 second one was a 13.2 @108, not bad for stock. Weighed in at 4560lbs with my fat ass in there. Was hoping to drop my times a bit more but had traction issues on the last run and ran a 13.6.

I was great to meet all of you out there and I'm hoping to get to the track more ths year. Great runs out there. Specially Chryslerking, man that 300C runs like a beast stock. My goal it to be floating in the 12's soon. 13.100 @ 105 and 13.156 @ 110 were my times.

Hey Guys, that was a great night at Mission..... My first run was 13.7, second run was 13.8. I want to blame the Iraq war, phase of the moon, traction, nice weather, import transmission oil on the track or black holes... Nah, I just need a new driver.... Kerry and I plan on going back to Mission on June 1st and try this again weather permitting..... Anyone else able to make it? Need some lawn chairs and coolers to do this thing right...

it was a fun night at the track good to meet some new faces there ya i had to do a last run last night i couldnt leave with a 15.18 so i went back up there and put down a 14.20 with a reaction time of .125 that was my best reaction time ever

Your the king when it comes to reaction time teamo .125 on a pro tree is crazy fast. DID YOU STAGE DEEP?

What kinda 60' times were you getting? hitting 110mph should be good for mid to high 12's if you can get a decent launch. Ill be out there this friday for sure if the weather is good. Im off work at 2pm so i can get down there early to get a few more runs in.

There is no street legal racing this Friday. B.C. Championship dragracing is running from Friday thru Sunday. Next chance is June 1st, and I plan on being there. My new yellow helmet should be good for .5 seconds, right?

My 60' on both of my runs was about 2.101 and 2.138. I'm sure if I brake and bring the rpm's up to launch I'll get those times down. What was your mph btw?
