yup, sounds like you need some help..
but, it also sounds like you got everything going, great job!
now, it seems some other members should lend a hand as well,
don't just throw in the towel, then all your work would have been for nothin... good luck...

Joe , I'll gladly help out where needed. But currently my worries lie elsewhere , like the 2 surgeries I was told it would take to get my ankle back to full use. If it doesnt require a lot of walking or any running I'm there.

Like others I am also juggling a few things trying to make ends meet , but I am sure I can handle something else , if only for a little while.

I would suggest that a list be made up of the different positions to be filled that details the responsibilities and duties of each so people can have an idea of what is being asked of them.

Have car , will drive. Just need to know where.

Gary.

I can no longer continue to devote so many hours on the start up of the club, the organization of the raffle, the charity car show for the Eades family, answering email to all that are concerned and not having the time I need for my family. I need people to step up and ask to be nominated for the normal board positions, or start nominating people for positions, and I need to know just what constitution we will have. When it is time for who ever is elected to run this club I do not want to hand over a pile of blue oval and bowtie debris.

There are many questions in the air, and it seems only I am here to answer them.
This is supposed to be the Arizona LX CLUB not the
Joe’s the guy in charge he’s got it club

I will start the nominations off with what I know will be helpful, and I hope you all can understand that this man has made us a great offer when he extended his abilities for help.

Ritschy will make a fine treasurer.

For sergeant at arms I like Gary or Brandon,

There are many other positions to fill,

I have work to do, and a family and home to tend, please lend a hand or let me know if I should just step aside.

All the best full

Joe, as President of the club, why don't you simply appoint an executive committee to fill the needed slots for the first term and start delegating. We can hold elections next term.

I don't mind keeping track of the financials. I do it for a living.

heres my 2 cents on the matter....

running any organization by yourself is never an easy task......
The members may never see the bumps in the road that you "officers " will have to pave for them to ride smoothly in this group...in other words....there will be a select few of you that will have to deal with all the chaos it takes in order to run an organization just so the "regular members" can have fun...i say this because of course no one REALLY wants to take on such roles but someone is going to have to lead!...and theyre gonna have to have that dedication....ive seen alot of groups come and go because of this very problem.....
heres a rundown....
President: to oversea and to workout issues other officials cant.....you will oversea each individual meet, show, cookout, etc...the directors will approach you and the other officials whether in email im or person about said future meets
Vice president: to take place and conduct business or meets in absence of the prez....meaning the VP will be at just about every meet or organized show that the president cannot fulfill......
Treasurer: in charge of all finance throughout the organization...what comes in needs to be logged...what goes out needs to be logged....
Secretary: in charge of keepin notes, minutes etc...keeping track of all minutes used in the group for meets,shows,etc....
Event Directors: In charge of organizing all future events, shows, cookouts, whatever......

i hope this helps.......

Gals and gals,

Please from now on direct all questions and comments about the show to me, that is what i wanted from the begining as i was the one from the begining that was trying to get this set up. Joe has been a great help in setting me up with Benny and the gang from GAME and assisting with all of the other things to go along with it but like i stated above my wife and i have been working like crazy to get this set up for over a month. Please give Joe the time with his family and send all questions and comments about the benefit to me. Thanks, and my email address is oneprouddad2@yahoo.com

Joe you don't need to step down. Just spread the burden. Looks like we have members steping up. Your to much of an asset to lose.

This to shall pass.

It's tough to start up and find the real direction we want to take. It's gonna take a little time, but I think we all agree - you have the passion it takes to head-up something like this.

Just learn to delegate and it will be fine. You have done so well so far.

Sorry to wait so long to reply, but Joe, you're the guiding voice of this thing, or at least the Godfather! I suspect you'll always be, and I for one am glad to have you there, and I know others feel the same. The group has grown in size, in passion, and in quality since you started corralling us together and giving us direction.

I'm still a Libertarian, and will continue to be, but I meant it when I said you have my support.

Let's all get together again soon and talk about the steps we need to start with. no need to hammer out every detail immediately, I reckon...

Joe,

Stick with it. It's bound to get easier once you get a few more people to help out. And you have a great crew to pick from. Count me in for whatever I can do.

Why not NOW joe? :)

I stand corrected, Joe (Fullofit) is not formally the club president. This, I think, is only because we haven't gone through the nomination/election process. He is, at least, the driving force behind this club-to-be and is key to whether this thing will happen or not.

If Joe will do it, let's appoint him Temporary President now. He can then appoint a committee to assist him with getting the infrastructure of the club in place and otherwise take some of the burden off his shoulders.

Enough of us follow this forum to make up a majority. I for one, would like to see this happen.

I would like to suggest another elective/appointive position; that of Regional Director. Outside Phoenix and environs our state is diverse enought to require such folks to both report to us locals and keep things moving forward.

For SE AZ I would like to nominate Mark or "ZMAGNUM".

AND ... BTW ... "full" - please don't stop. Looks like folks are stepping up to help. WE NEED YOU!
