Does anyone know a contact for upgrading the GPS Navigation disc in the LX's. My 2005, Magnum has a factory CD/radio/Nav. system and if I am reading it correctly, the version date is 3-10-00. I have checked with the dealer and he wants in the neighborhood of $250.00 for a new disc. This seems a bit much for a disc. If anyone can help with a contact or a cheaper upgrade, please give a shout out.

OK Joseph,
Be that way. I suppose that the GPS disc is a top trade secret Mod and I would not want you to betray those loyal GPS fans. Maybe someone in this forum would be willing to give up that most treasured secret GPS contact.

It's nice to have the most current info, but the price is steep. I certainly enjoy using the nav and would like the update as well.

Hey Nuts,
A lot of people come on this forum and ask for bootleg copies, hacked copies, basically, illegal versions. I know you were not asking for anything like that but, there are people that do.
Do not be offended. He meant nothing by it.
Now, to answer your question, there is a place on ebay where they sell the discs for about 100 bucks. There are legit copies. Search on ebay for a vendor called Mr.CD1. That should get you started.
By the way,

p.s. Do a search in these forums for Nav Discs. You will be amazed as to what you will find. You should always do a search for what you are looking for before posting. At least until you get the idea as to what is already around. This will come with just simply logging in and staying current. Being new, some members tend to get frustrated with "lazy" newbies. (Newbies not searching before they post) Now, I am not saying you are, it's just you have to realize how many people sign up here to scam, etc. They are just being cautious.
Also, be sure to read about Reputation points. If someone helps you out, make sure to give them the deserved bump in rep. aka BEANS. Do a search for "Reputation Points". It is basically the little scales at the top of each post.
