If we're going to print one for events, how big will it be? The design will need to be large enough to look good at a large size.

I can get us a deal on a 36" wide by however long format. Canvas or Tyvek would be best for durability.

I slapped something together to see how it might fly. ( this is an exciting Saturday night nowadays)

This is strictly conceptual. I used the same image as the badges but there are many like it to choose from. I had a tough time finding useable pics of our actual cars, so I swiped these from the web.

I figure we might want to add sponsor logos too.

Someone here invited me to do one but since I don't live in the desert, I don't think I could do it justice. The one you have in post #5 is gorgeous. The idea of the three cars is a good one.

I am not sure why but for some reason everyone thinks of our state as only a desert.... too bad we have much more..

Although, 99% of our members live right in the middle of the Sonoran Desert. Yes, it is readlily associated with AZ. I hope we have lots more input from everyone and anyone. I'd hate to think I have a monopoly on this sort of thing. I'm no Monkey or Hazman.

I get errors on each of the drawings. Different numbers for each.

I like this one the best just because it is simple, very readable from a distance, and the sun says it all.
Just my newbie opinion. But remember I am wise beyond my years.
( I know that doesn't even work on people who know me!!!)

Actually a live shot would probably be best. A row of cars and a few owners in there would be a great banner. The row can happen anywhere and background can be added later :-)
