I have checked with a few on-line sources and can't find anything. My Mangum RT will be here the first week of July and I'm planning a trip with my vintage Airstream Bambi in early August. I would prefer a bolt-on aftermarket product that is designed FOR the Magnum.
Hmmmm...I wonder if Hidden Hitch has anything yet?

Nope--they are the first people I contacted. They told me it's "in development" and that they "might" have something by December.

Reminds me of the days back in the 70's when we'd go on family vacations in the big ol' Chrysler's with a trailer... The 300C is gonna be a great car for a roadtrip!!
I thought Mopar was going to have a special dealer installed towing package that includes the receiver, wiring harness, and upgraded shocks and/or springs to handle potential tounge weight. IIRC, retail price was in the $500 range and I dont' remember if that includes installation.

Where did you hear about this dealer installed package? Sounds perfect. My dealer doesn't know anything about it.
By the way, I checked in with the dealer today about my Magnum RT that I ordered on 5/13--he told me to expect delivery "some time in August." And that's with no sunroof and dark grey paint. He also told me that they have been "astonished" by the number of cars that have been ordered--100% of his first shipment has been sold out in advance.

There is a part number for a Mopar hitch , but it is not available yet.
Do you know what the price of the kit is supposed to be over the counter and installed?
Any idea how it will look - i.e. will it be a 2" tube hanging down under the rear "bumper"?

If you follow my link above to Lee Auto, they have pictures on a 300C. I'd think rear bumper wise, would look pretty much the same.

Wish it was a better picture so I could see it it's removable.

If it's removeable it's perfect.

just found out the the "tow group" is now available for order. I really wanted this option but when I ordered the Magnum RT back on 5-14 it was "unavailable" and the dealer did not expect it to become available until the fall. The dealer said they could intall the tow package anyway so I ordered. Now I have come to find out that the "tow group" CAN NOT be installed by the dealer! I went to the dealer and asked that they add the "tow package" and was told NO CAN DO--even though my car is STILL not at "D1" status! They told me that they would have to CANCEL my ORDER FROM one month ago and "start over." They also told me that there is goin to be a SIGNIFICANT PRICE INCREASE and that there is not even a listed price if you ORDER a car today.
Is this total crap? Anyone out there know HOW to change an ORDER so I can tell me dealer how to do it? THANK YOU!!!!

I was told that by my dealer also.

I posted the same messge in another thread. The dealer cannot change the ORDER after it hits BG (my understandning), but the Chrysler Regional sales manager can (That is how I am getting my car). So ask your dealer to contact therir regional sales manager or give you the contact info.
