My first major mod is going to be rims/tires. The first rims are Boyd Coddington rims which will specially made for my car in 20x10 rears and 20x8.5 fronts, they will also be painted centers done by a professional, these will also come with tires also, Nitto Nt420's package price is 3400.00 installed.
The second rims are from Factor One Garage, Eins-Tunning also 20x10 rears and 20x8.5 fronts, these are 1490 special on from them. No tires are included.
I like both rims, an money being a factor here, but one thing is nice about the Boyds, they will be the only one specifically for my car only. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'll have to say #2 also. I just put 20s on two weeks ago and did a bunch of research before purchase.

I looked at a bunch of production rims, and American have rims similar to the Coddington units. They looked a bit too retro for me. More like something you'd see on a 60s era muscle car. Just didn't work for me, but I wanted 5 black spokes and a polished chrome lip. Different strokes.

Here's a tool that might help you visualize what similar wheels might look like on your car.

I like the second ones better. But if you like that throwback look, then the first ones are for you!

I like that old school staggered look, so the Boyd's get my vote.

So far my favorite setup belongs to FactoryD, Foose Nitrous wheels with 295's in the back, 265's up front. He's got pix here (http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=31367), and since they kinda resemble the Boyd's, maybe that'll help you out a little with your decision.

Good luck.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you wanna be different then #2 is your best choice as #1 looks like a lot of other wheels out right now. If funds are your major concern then # 2 is also your best bet, so save some money for more mods and roll. Or if you're dying to go retro go with #1. Bottom line is make sure you are going to be happy with 'em.

I'll go against the grain...

I totally disagree wtih the above statement. ALL of the 20-22" wheels on the market are the same deep dish, billet look- most of them chrome(which is just needless weight-IMO). I think the Boyd's wheels he posted have look that will look better with the car- IMO. I'm very anxious to see the Viper style knockoffs that Billy has coming. They should look great on the LX cars.

5X114.3 is for a mustang and 350...they will fit, but you will most likely need spacers....i had AXIS GT-R's on my R/T, which was meant for a mustang...i used 3mm spacers...i never had any issues w/ them...good luck - jimmy
