Well.... My brakes began to pulse and vibrate. I tried the bedding procedure twice but it always came back. I am cutting the rotors and installing new pads. Here are picks of my rotors and pads. This is after the LX Speed Festival. I think I jacked them up. Tell me what you think.

Looks like you have some tiny surface cracks on the rotor... that can't be good. Guy I work with does that to his BMW brakes pretty often (he tracks the car HARD). Might not be able to get away with turning them, depending on how deep the cracks are... last thing you want is your rotor coming apart when you need it!

Those look purdy crappy to me, but you don't have 70K like I do, I hear the 'reminder' flags on mine now, origianl brakes at 70K after a few track sessions, no complaints!
I could smell yours when you were sniffing my a$$ HERE: Or was I smelling mine (brakes)

Luckily, my rotors look really nice, thinking of just changing pads with nesw OEM ones, no rotor turning..nuts or not??

CAM....Wanna jack up someones's car besides your own next weekend??:beerchug:

It was the pad that had the crack. I will check the rotors carefully tonight

I get to take my ride home. :)

I am going stock for now. I need to spend some $ on my wifes E320. She needs new shocks on her car. Gotta get Bilsteins for hers. They aint cheap.

I get to take my ride home. :) Gives a whole new dimension to the term 'Company car'... They charge for 'Personal Use'?

That's pretty cool..

No personal use. Cant drive it unless I am in full uniform. If I were to drive it in my civies people would think that I stole it. 911 call are made and I would have a whole lotta guns pointed at my face.
