Alot Of People Out There Believe That You Can Lose Horse Power And Torque On A Dyno With A Stall Converter . I Dont Know What The Answer To This Is So We Should Get To The Bottom Of It.

Trust me.....it dyno's worse but runs waaaay faster at the track.

Yeah this is one case where absolutely, positively what is best in the lab is not best in the field. There may be, however, merit to comparing torque converters at the track. However things get REALLY complicated really fast. Change your car's hp and you change the stall point on the 'verter. Want to control all of your variables and use the same car for testing? Bring a wheelbarrow full of cash cuz you are talking two converter installs. One thing we don't have is free shop time, sadly.
I'd love to see some sort of comparison, but I have no idea how to go about it offhand with any kind of meaningful results coming from the comparison on a realistic budget. If anyone can figure one out, though, it would be CoolVanilla
