With less than 8 weeks on the rear dampers both are leaking. I read about a few others with this problems but am wondering how wide spread this really is. I think there may be a lot of people with leaky Eibach shocks that don't even know it.
I noticed one rear shock leaking then took the car to the dealer that installed them and he said that both were leaking. I bought them and had them installed at a Eibach dealer (Belle tire) just incase I had problems.
It's been over two weeks and they still can not tell me when I'm getting replacements.
If you have Eibach dampers I would suggest you check yours and report in. It's easy to do. Just jack the rear up so the shock is extended. You do not have to take the tire off. Reach under and wipe the lower half of the shock with a clean papertowl to check for any oily residue. Should take less than 10 minutes start to finish. Don't get in a hurry, wheel block and jackstand please.
Would like to hear from those of you with Eibach dampers good or bad.
