I took a test drive and was impressed. I have also test driven a Nissan. Nissan dealer asked what else I was looking at. Mentioned 300C. He thought it was a good car. Then he said I might want to CHECK on the maintenance of the Hemi. They apparently had a class on the Ram (comparing to the Titan) and he said he thought he remembered something about a 30,000 mile engine maintenance requirement (changing all the plugs?). Can anyone shed any light about the scheduled maintenance for the 300C?

Any mechanic worth his salt will recommend changing the plugs more often the 100,000 miles, and yes the Hemi is schedualed to do it every 30,000 miles. Sure some plugs claim those kind of intervals, and the coils these days could fire a broken plug in pure oil probably, but that doesn't mean that those plugs with 50,000 miles on them will be giving you the best power, economy, and emissions. It's a gimmik to sell cars trying to say it doesn't need a tuneup for 100,000 miles. Cars really don't even get "tune-ups" anymore anyways. The plugs on the Hemi are real easy to get to and they are inexpensive, why not change them?

If Nissan is giving classes on what is better about the Titan over a Hemi Ram and a 30,000 mile plug change is the best they can come up with, that shows how much better the Hemi is!
