Looking to REPLACE a vehicle with a Magnum? What are you currently driving and why do you want to REPLACE it with this new Dodge?
Me: 2000 Ford Expedition, gas is starting to cost too much and this thing drinks it like crazy. I love my Expedition, but the time has come for it to move on, of course the magnum is a great motivation for this change!

I am driving a 2000 Land Rover Discovery. Changing because I want to keep the utility/hauling side, but hate the gas guzzling/slow side. It's been an excellent SUV with absolutely no problems though. Hopefully the Dodge will be the same. I've never owned one before.

Sold my 2002 BMW 330i. Now I'm getting lots of exercise walking around, waiting for my RT to be built.

Sigh, splitting the difference between my Volvo (198K miles) and my LeMans (117K miles). Hey, I'm 18, cut me some slack! :P
Why a Magnum? Only vehicle I'd ever need!

I have a 2001 Stratus R/T (coupe) and I love the sportiness of it, but I'll be nearing 100K miles this December and I really need something that I can haul stuff in. I was 25 when I bought my Stratus and still in that spirited youth frame of mind. These days, I own a house and make frequent trips to the Home Depot, and I'm also a computer consultant, so I am frequently hauling computers and monitors around. Last but not least, I'm a bass player for a band and I need to be able to cart around my amp without stealin my girlfriends car.
So, what kind of car would give me enough space to haul all of that and still be sporty? The Magnum. There are so many details in the R/T that amaze and excite me. I can't wait until December to buy a Magnu,. It will be like HAVING my cake and eating it!

Replacing my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I hate it! I get 15 miles to the gallon in both my truck and my E55, however, the 15 miles are fun miles with heavy accelaration and fast driving in E55. There is no fun in the 15 miles FROM the Sport Trac. I want something that is more fun to drive, sporty and on the ground. I hate the unconnected road feel and a Roll-Over would just ruin my day. The Truck actually lifts and floats off the road when the road gets bumpy.:(

I'm replacing a red 2000 R/T Durango. Lease is up & timing is everything. The 10-11mpgs doesn't help much either.

Does it matter if I'm ordering a 300C or a Magnum (this is the Magnum thread!) ?
I had 3 cars, I'm whittling that down to 2. I've sold my 03 Mitsubishi EVO, I'm working on selling my 02 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 (or I'll just trade it in on the 300). My other car is a 03 Civic EX (40MPG!) which my fiancee drives.
This car will technically be replacing my EVO, since the truck just sat in the garage until I needed mulch or to pick up some furniture!

I'm presently driving a 2000 silver 300M loaded with over 60k on it. Bought it new. I haven't test driven either the 300C or the Magnum. I am leaning toward the 300C. I have sat in one and looked it over thoroughly and all the reviews are impressive. Most likely it will be my next car in about a year. I don't like buying first year vehicles. I prefer to wait till all the bugs are worked out.
I may consider keeping my 2000M as a winter car and a mall runner. I figure it will be worth probably close to about 8k when I buy my next car so I may as well keep it.
This is my first post but won't be my last. Nice job on setting up this board.

Ummm...a 91 Prelude. It was my college car, just graduated and got a job with lots of money to spend(i got an engineering degree). Don't really have any debt except for 5k in school loans which isn't much so i decided to splurge a little for my first "big purchase" of my life. I'm looking forward to the immense leap in vehicles i'm making.

I will be replacing the 2002 Mercury Mountaineer which I have owned since September of 2001. It is far better than larger SUVs, but still rougher and noisier than I want to tolerate over the 25,000 plus miles I drive per year in southern California (especially on the awful concrete freeways here).
Gas mileage is not my main concern, but the 300 or Magnum will be a susbtantial improvement. I have received my invitation to the Magnum introduction, and will decide then if I have to buy the Magnum to carry my things, or if the 300C works. Anyway, I can drive the Mountaineer for another year and only loose $1,000 in value. Even though I would love the sell the Mountaineer today, I will wait and buy a 2006 model. Maybe there will be some nice improvements to the LX models by then.

Currently driving a 2002 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 (regular cab).
Planning to pay it off as quickly as possible and add the AWD Magnum (with a Hemi, of course) to my fleet sometime in '05. :)

Two oldy, but goody Neons. The reason (apart FROM just being smitten with the Magnum at first sight) I'd like to get the Magnum is to put a bit more metal around my wife and month-old son without resorting to something silly, like an SUV.

Just sold my wife's Chevy Venture in preparation for our Magnum addition. Too hard to work on, no longer reliable. It was time for it to go. Will be getting a Magnum in the coming months.

2000 toyota celica (40K miles and for sale) hopefully will soon be replaced by the 300c's if D/C could get their supply problems fixed.
Technically, I am replacing a 2004 Stratus with my next vehicle, hopefully a Magnum RT. That car was just a cheap filler between the next car and an IS300.

I currently drive a 03' Land Rover Discovery, but we traded in the family 94' Cadi Seville SLS, and I have my summer baby a 89' Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. The 300C (midnight blue) we ordered suppose to be mine but I have a feeling my hubby will be driving it way more than I :?. I can't wait to get it I ordered mine 5/3. Also will sell the Land Rover once the right buyer come along.

Right now I have a 96 Crown Victoria LX HPP (which will be for sale once I get my 300c). It's my daily driver.
http://sminnick.com/cv/Images/IMGP2112.jpg
I also have a 1966 Bug (a little less horse power than the 300c, I believe the sotck 1300cc engine is 36 horse power or maybe 39, but I don't think it's over 40)
http://sminnick.com/bug_high_side.jpg
Then when I want to have some fun I also have a 2001 Ducati 996:

And a 1998 Yamaha VMax

Once the 300c comes and before I sell my Vic, I will have 5 vehicles not including my wife's CRV. Man, time the thin out the heard.

I used to have a '99 Dakota, but needed a covered area that would accommodate my sales supplies, and hold my drums. Getting out of a gig late at night, there can be a lot of moisture and condensation in the air and such.
 Water + Drums = BAD!
So I now have a Chevy Blazer with a H.O. V-6 and I get 15–17 City and 19-22 Hwy when I drive like an old woman.
Being in outside sales and driving 10 to 150 miles a day has forced me to make my MPG a high priority. That is the reason I held off on getting an ’03 Durango, because the ‘04’s get better mileage with 100HP gain! Unfortunately, I can’t get used to the looks of them. Being a gear head, raised on muscle cars made the Magnum an excellent consideration for me.
So, what kind of car would give me enough space to haul all of that and still be sporty? The Magnum.

Had a 1996 Caprice Classic with the 5.7 LT1 engine in it. I got rid of it becasue it was going to cost some money to keep it. New trannie or at least an overhaul, plugs, wires, 4 new tires ect...
I went with the Magnum because of the Hemi. I had my LT1 built with some aftermarket mods and wanted something as fast or faster.

I'd always had sporty cars...red 89 Acura Legend Coupe and then a silver 99 Volvo C70 coupe....but decided I needed some cargo capacity and bought a new 03 Honda Pilot. After a year and a half I hated driving an appliance (a great appliance btw) and yearned for a sporty car again. So.... in one weeked in Feb I bought a graphite Chrysler Crossfire 6spd for me and a Honda Element EX for me and my partner to share. He already had a Audi A4 cabrio. Our new house and dog demanded some cargo hauling so the Element was perfect.
Two weeks later....surprise!....he's been foolin' around behind my back for years. *sigh*
So after buying him out of the house (twice as much house as I can really afford) I've decided I have to sell atleast one car. The Crossfire is beautiful but I have to be practical. So I'm in the process of selling it.
The Element will tide me over until the Magnum offers some serious rebates...RT baby.
That's my plan.
