Greetings All,

I'm one of the founding members and the first President (member #0001) of the 300M Enthusiasts Club. 99300mricva succeeded me as President in 2003, and he's still doing a great job.

Not positive, but I think I'm the first 300M Club member to ORDER a new 300C. Just (2 days ago) ordered a magnesium with all options but the smokers and cold weather groups. Build date TBD. There was (and still is) a ton of resistance to the new design FROM the 300M crowd because the 300C is SO different FROM the 300M. I was ambivalent at first, but the car ultimately won me over. I'll be keeping my M for the foreseeable future.

Looking forward to seeing some of you at our regional 300M Club meets. We also do the Woodward Dream Cruise in August, hopefully followed by a tour of the LX assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario. Our first plant tour was in 2003, but we couldn't do it last year because of the expansion and re-tooling for the LX cars. I fully expect we'll be back on for this year. Needless to say, other LX and LH owners will be welcome to join us.

Yours 300Cly,
rogor2k

Welcome to the site! I'm trading in my '99 300M on my new 300 Limited. It's been a good car, but with 140,000 miles on it, time to go. And I 'm way excited about the new one.
Keep us posted on any factory tours. I would love to get INTO Brampton.

I already asked Dieter about a tour this year and again he asked if we could wait until 2005. Without a tour, few are interested in Woodward for August 2004.

He doesn't want us bumping INTO the the other LX variants still up for release.

Welcome to the board rogor2K! Glad to have you here...its great to see 300M owners that enjoy the new cars.

There aren't many current M owners who seem to take the to new 300's . Understandable though, the M's and the C's are completely different styles. But when it comes down to it, they really have the same mission. Luxury sport.

99300mricva,

Bummer about the Brampton plant tour this year. He almost assured me in his last letter to me last year that they could accommodate a tour "after the LX product launch." Apparently the launch is lasting longer than expected. Woodward is a great event, but the plant tour was the highlight of the weekend for just about everyone who attended.

I guess we just have to keep the interest alive for next year.

That's the problem...the LX's are going to be launching INTO next year. The Charger, Airflite...etc. They are all coming out of Brampton.
