Thanks to our very own John Cambridge (of Ron Olsen Dodge) for sending me this Magnum Accessory Catalogue.
Sorry for the lo-res scans, but I'm trying to preserve bandwidth:

Got a call on the cell this AM FROM my Sales Manager and he said he had something for me. :D
We slid by this evening and now I own a copy of the Accessory Booklet, as well.
There are a few new things in there not mentioned elsewhere. :D
I also got a copy of the newest DODGE Magazine with some skinny on the Magnum (as well as other Dodges).
Guess I had better subscribe, huh!

You may/should get a complimentary year or two was you buy the Magnum. At least that's what Mercedes owners get - the Mercedes Magazine free for a couple years. Ask the salesman.

Take a look at the cover page. The roof rack is not like the factory installed option? Looks like they will also have an accessory roof rack which can easily removed. I think I prefer that!

I still get the Dodge magazine FROM my Intrepid that I sold 2 years go and FROM my Jeep that I sold last year. Should be complimentary for a time period like Kev said.

Looks like one of those rain gutter mount racks to me. :?:

If one opts for the Rain Gutter type I would also CHECK out www.Yakima.com . They make roof racks and accessory hauling stuff for almost evey car. I would not be surprised if the Dodge stuff was not actually made by Yakima.

It appears FROM the info in the Magnum and 300 Accessory Catalog and FROM Mopar.com owners will be able to add DVD Navigation later at the dealer. It is called "Technology Package". The Nav Radio is listed cheaper, $1,795, for Magnum. FROM Factory it is $1,895. Also $1,795 for 300. Maybe there is a install or antenna kit needed. If that is true that is really cool because I don't know of any cars that dealers can or will install the Factory Navigation system once out of the factory.
The picture in the catalog shows the Dealer installed UConnect on left side of Nav Radio because the Factory installed UConnect controls are located on the Rear-View Mirror.

The wife and I talked about SERIUS for our PTGT and the deal we made was on a car without.............................so we asked how much dealer installed..........................and the LABOR was more than the unit.
My thoughts are if you want it ORDER it FROM the factory.

Or, if possible...do it yourself! Hopefully once some folks get the cars, we can get a section of DIY topics on the site for popular stuff.

DIY's may love it. If the 'REC' unit with DVD Navigation, CD Changer, MP3 and Sirius is all in one box it may be a steal at $1795. With that in mind we may see this unit finding its way INTO many other cars.

that price doesn't include the sirius receiver or antenna.

Hmmmm, since buying my mag in June of 05, I get these magazines on a regular basis. You may/should get a complimentary year or two was you buy the Magnum. At least that's what Mercedes owners get - the Mercedes Magazine free for a couple years. Ask the salesman.

I DIY the Sirius and the instructions are VERY EASY to follow. The hardest part is deciding on the antenna. I bought a different antenna and an adapter to move the antenna to the dash (no need to drill holes or put on outside of car).

You can get it cheaper than that, new. I've seen it on websites a few hundred less and got mine (new) on eBay for $800.
