After i saw the magnum srt-8 concept at the auto show two years ago... i became obsessed with the car. I can't even explain what attracted me to a station wagon as a 16 year old... but nevertheless it did... so every single day i searched online for any picture i could find on that sweet ride, and one day i found this web site and i've been loving it since. This car has always been the first site to post new pictures, new videos, anything a magnum lover could dream of. This is by far the best forum i have ever seen out there, also the first forum i have ever joined. It is so organized and everyone here is so friendly, the only complaints i have ever had with it was those torturous 48 hours the site was down for the switch... and that's my story.

I think I heard about it on dodgetalk.com. It was either that or dodgeforums.com or allpar.com. I was soaking up all of the DC info I could while waiting for mine to be built and someone mentioned it in a post. Hardly ever go to the other forums these days. Looking at their traffic compared to here its obvious where all the LX eyeballs are focused. But far, far more important is the sense of community here. Its been said but I'll say it again: This is a diamond in the rough as far as web forums go.

Hello all. I'll be picking up my new Magnum SXT tomorrow from a dealer 50 miles west of my home in Baton Rouge. The car I will be picking up is the only SXT available within 250 miles of my home; it is in my first choice color (white), and equipped precisely as I wanted.

I learned of this forum at the Edmunds site.

I toyed with buying an R/T but then realized that I would probably not be able to control my urges to drive the car like I did the various cars I owned back in the Sixties. I bought my first Dodge (a Dart GT convertible) in 1963, but then lost the MoPar faith a year later when the Mustang was introduced. When I began thinking about my next new car a few years ago, there really wasn't anything I was aware of that would suit my ideals: a large RWD wagon. When I later learned of the Magnum, I just knew this would be the car. Months before it was actually introduced, I had already made a visit to my local dealer. I drove the first Magnum to arrive in the city.

I decided to join this forum to learn from others who have had both good and bad experiences. From the little I've read so far, this looks to be like a collection of folks who really do enjoy driving their great American cars.

Right below that it said "DMAG Was Here"! He-HE! Same here, started with dodgemagnum.net at first, and that mutated into this..

And I think it said "For a Good Time, call DMAG" on the wall - at least in the stall I was in...:thumbs_u:

I was at a gas station, filling up when a CHP Officer on a motorcycle approached me after he finished giving a ticket to some ricer and asked if I was on LXFORUMS.com. Up till then I had only been on the 300c forums. Then several months later, same CHiPpy pulls up to my driver's side and yells, "Are you on LXForums?!" I nearly shat my pants. Then he goes and pulls a nice black 500s over without missing a beat.
