I didn't even want to type that thread title but WTF??? No response to PM's re: going to Kennedale to run the 1/8th mile and get together as a group???
Thanks, SeadooSandi for coming out in her Mag RT and lending moral support....my brother Txjeff at least called at 4:30 to say he was having a bad-hair day and wasn't gonna make it (JOKING! his sawbones has him on some new meds and he didn't feel up to it)....what's everyone else's excuse???
Anyway, Sandi and my wife Leslie had a good time and it was very crowded but, as usual, I was the ONLY MOPAR racing!!! We did see an Inferno Red Charger parked up by the finish-line as we were leaving but I don't think they were racing...didn't get a chance to give them an LX-Forums business card, didn't see anyone near the car.
Here's how I did...once again, the Mag RT is very competitive with all those Mustangs and Camaros....y'all really should try to come out...
Ambient temp was 73 degrees...front tires 42psi...rear tires 28psi...1/3 tank of gas....91 octane tune, raised RPM, raised shift points, reduced Torque Management settings on the Flashpaq.
First run against a "somewhat" older Camaro with some very loud exhausts...I had my doubts about this one...here's the timeslip...I'm car #902...

We have a winner...the Mag!!!! I got him by a bit off the line and then just walked away...the 9.325 is my worst time so far but the .305 reaction time was encouraging...engine temp was 213 degrees and the guy with the hose at the waterbox got a little carried away today, my tires were wet...Dead launch (no brake start) and ESP OFF.
Second run .... freakin' NOBODY wants to get beat by a wagon, LOL!!! I can't get a race so finally I agree to go against this guy in a Vette (no idea what year, maybe late 80's or early 90's, but absolutely NO QUESTION he has worked this thing, obvious cam lope and exhaust work, not sure what esle)....but I was there to try to improve my driving as much as anything today so I line up with him...
Engine temp is 215 dgrees this time but I wise up and do a burnout after running through the water....nothing spectacular, just to dry off the tires and get 'em sticky...Vette-boy does a smoky burnout on his drag radials and we line up...here's the timeslip...

The Vette RED-LIGHTS!!! I'm grinning ear-to-ear cause I cut an .097 light so I'm thrilled, still only ran a 9.26 (ran a 9.05 last Wednesday) but still respectable AND got the WIN LIGHT! The Vette was a full second faster but I'll take 'em where I can get 'em.
This is fun stuff gang...wish we could get a better turnout. Had to leave after 2 runs, Mrs. Cadz back was acting up and I didn't want to be selfish, I was happy she came out to cheer me on.
Peace, out.
