ok im going to be running 265/35-22 tires, now i know it can be lowered, but how much? ive heard people use the pro kit for the 1.3 drop and theres the Mopar 1in drop, which would be safer/ look the best? also with a drop, what other suspension components should i condsider to go along with it?

coilovers since the lowering springs will kill your shocks; at which time you will either have to buy new shocks (and then buy them again when the same thing happens) or pull the springs and do coilovers.

If you are just street cruising on smooth roads the shocks will last longer, but you will kill them faster no matter what your driving style is.

There's a new vendor here that sells a limited-drop spring thats safe for the shocks. Its only advertised as a half-inch drop I believe, but if the other spring mfrs are any indication that half inch will increase as the springs settle.

are talking about doing a whole coilover suspenson system? or just coilovers?'coilovers' are a whole suspension system. The kits from KW, Tein et al replace the current shocks and springs entirely. The rears are actually a shock and spring combo so calling the system a 'coilover' is not accurate since only the fronts are real coilovers, but its the same for every product out there.

I think its Pedders that does the least aggressive, most shock-friendly drop. Next is Hotchkis and then Mopar. Eibach's 1.3" Prokit is really a 1.75" after it gets done settling.

If you are just cruising easy down a smooth urban roads, with no saggy freeways, the stock shocks will last a long time. Maybe forever.

If you're going to do limited drop springs, you might as well just get an SRT-8 takeoff suspension IMO. It will drop you less than an inch too, won't cost much more (if at all) if you shop around and you'll have the benefit of a more performance oriented ride as well.
