So, it has been just about a month and a half from dealer pick up and I grew the balls to pull off the side moldings. Never mind that this is my first bran new car. But, You know what I guess because I live in Hawaii but no work involved at all. No heating no nothing. Just used a fine piece of string to get under the lip to get it started and thats it.

The only thing left behing from those ugly ass strips was the dirt that got cought in the crevasse between the molding and the car. Paint is cherry and man does the car look so different.

Best burst of courage so far. If you have pondered the idea of this suck it up and do it.

It took me about 11 months later to actually pull it off with the help of Eric(Invader) of course and it really does have that clean look to it...!!!

I've thought about this but I like the molding. Gives the perception that the car is longer, just like stripes on a shirt. Plus my moldings aren't too thick like the V6 300's.

The side moldings are stuck on the car with sticky tape? should be easy to take off

Mine were off within two hours of getting it home from the dealer. Used dental floss.

I used fishing line and Goo-Gone 2 weeks after I got my Charger. Sometimes less is more!
