Meet, Greet and Run? Ennis: Saturday Feb 17th

Some buddies of mine are heading to the Texas Motorplex in Ennis to run their cars on the "Test and Tune" day this Saturday (Feb 17th). I know its short notice, but we're thinking about heading down there with them and seeing what "baby" can do in the 1/4. Anyone else interested in tagging along? Let me know, maybe we can work out a way to head down together and have a little MG&R!

Sorry, I just realized this date conficts with the Houston meet. If anyone doesn't have the ability to make Houston, but wants to run, Ennis is 45 minutes from Dallas and has an excellent drag strip. Don't change plans to go to Houston if you're already thinking about it- but if not, here's another option for a day trip.

One of these days we'll make it south since you guys seem to have all the fun, but haul'n the wife and young kids makes those trips a serious logistical issue. We'll be there at some point!

Been to Ennis before - it`s a great track , built just like HRP , or vicy vercy, all concrete if I`m not mistaken.

Enjoy yourself man , think about us guys sittin still gettin fat on BBQ while your haullin a$$ down that track. Be sure and post some times and speeds when ya get home. With the weather being cool your ride should be pretty fast as the cars just LOVE cool air.
