Don't want to rub my fuzz off!

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to safely clean the felt strip(what else is it called?) just inside the door frame. Concerned that if I rub too hard it will peel off the fuzz. Looks like the prep boys at the dealership put some kind of dressing on the door gaskets that transferred to them when the doors shut. Darn this ocd! Thanks for the help.

Lint roller brush or in a pinch masking tape wrapped around your fingers
