I have just one source of rattles in my 300 AWD Touring... The door lock buttons. They all seem to rattle around in the cylinders that they pop in and out of and it is pretty annoying.
Happens on rough or smooth roads, high or low music volume, and can only sometimes be stopped by cycling the power locks up and then back down. I don't always have the rattle, and that fix doesn't always work.
Wondering if anyone else has this kind of problem. I was thinking some kind of sleeve in the cylinder might make it tighter / quieter, of maybe an o-ring around the base of the button.
I did have the windows tinted right after taking delivery, and don't remember if it happened prior to that. Could they have re-assembled something in the door panels incorrectly?
Thanks.
