300 3.5 exhaust tip

heyy all.

im sorry if this has been talked about before, but i couldnt find a definitive answer for v6 300s.

i was wondering if its possible to fit a custom exhaust tip on a v6 300, without modifing or moving the resonator, im asking this cause the stock exhaust tip is awfully short and bends down.

yeah just take it to an exhaust shop they should be able to cut the bend out and weld on a tip!! Probably be $50 or so just depends how much the tip cost!

how about if i remove the resonator. would it be too loud and drony?

I dont think it would be, do a search some people have put up some audio files of the sound with out the resonator and I think it sounds good!! I myself will be getting blasin bobs resonator eliminator kit. Also makes it dual exhaust. I will be getting the 6db kit. I will be ordering it in late Jan begin of Feb. I cant wait til I get it!! And its only $250!!!!

Since the OP has a Touring, I was waiting to see something without a notched rear bumper. I have the same deal, with the down turned exhaust tip. Wanted to see what he used. I just want some simple chrome tip, almost like a ring, to dress it up.

I've seen a couple of the Touring models around and yes they got screwed on the exhaust tips. And I think 2 tips are better than one :)

srryy still dirty, i hate the damned winter, but the tip i got it a dual tip i think that looks best
