At least I'm guessing it was a hawk, or an owl, it sure was a large bird that slammed into the side of the Magnum last night. Talk about giving a guy a heart attack.
Driving along about 65/70 (and it was dark, WTF are you doing flying around in the dark, bird! It's dangerous!) when THUD! Something hits the pass side rear door/window area. Hard! First thought is "I've been sideswiped!"
I look in the rearviews to see a puff of feathers and a large bird carcass flying (well bouncing) along the road in the other cars headlights. The next 15 minutes home was like "I've got a cracked window, or dented door, busted trim, scratched paint...or something!..." sweat, worry, groan, etc.etc.
But nothing! Not even a scratch. Couldn't even tell where it hit! Are these things built or what?! :racing:
