Got our so called private, not for the general public, $1000 "make your best deal then drop this on the desk" coupon last night. Restrictions include no GC SRT8, Nitro, and a few others. ALL LXs are on the table though. Now if I only they had a convertible....

Edmonds just posted the new rebates / incentives that cover magnums till 1/2/2007
looks like time to buy especially if you could also use one of those mail only $1000 rebates to bad they are non transferable

What is that all about?

I have been hunting and researching the best deal for about 3 months now and started asking about the $6500-7000 rebates, he said the $6500 was the highest offered and that was only on the Commander. Only $3000 on SRT-8 models... My two best deals so far were found today...
300C SRT-8 - fully loaded (except dvd) MSRP $46745 - $38700
300C SRT-8 - sunroof only option MSRP $43795 - $37218
I have yet to mention the $1000 coupon because I don't have one. As I was walking out on the 2nd dealer telling him the 1st deal in comparison was much better then his, he said he would call me tomorrow with a better price when the GM is there. So maybe it might get even better. Like many have mentioned in other posts. Go in confident and knowledgable...I threw everything at them..I even went in with a file folder of articles about inventory sitting on lots being a major problem, 3% dealer holdback, high gas prices, and $400 dealer sales bank incentive for every 2006. They were quick to break down to almost the bottom line without a lot of B.S. and struggle... Soon I will be a member of the family fellas!!!!!

Can you provide me with the links or maybe even e-mail me or fax me copies of what you have? I'm going through this whole process with my dealer about the blown engine in my car and stuff. I might be trading the car or getting a new one and I want to have this stuff to read over before I make any deals.

Those are 2007 incentives. The best incentives going right now are for the leftover 2006 models only, which they dont advertise on the site, because they aren't consumer incentives, they're dealer cash.
