That paint is just plain sick. Love the wheels with the combo, too.

I like the paint job, but would pass on the rims... too black and flat as well as being larger than 20s. Was the IR the original color, or are both new to the vehicle?

Nice/Great job none the less!

It is hard to see in the pics, but the rim is a 18mm offset & the lip extends behind the thick spokes. IR was the original color; the "black" is a BMW pearl metallic charcoal.

So... if IR was the original color, and it's NOT a Heritage Edition, then it must be a 2007 model "C"? When did the IR color become available outside the H.E.'s was it late model '06s or '07s. I don't remember.

Thanks for the compliment, guys! We have a great crew to pull these cars off; my hats off to them. :thumbs_u:

They LOVE to read the thoughts on the cars they produce on this forum.

GoofyTimL: to be exact, the stock color is PRH; Blaze Red Crystal. You originally stated IR, so I figured, what's the difference, since they are sooooooo close!

Hi Magnum Maniac!! :)

I think that's beautiful. And extremely well done. I was curious though... is it 'easier' [relatively speaking] to paint the top half of the 300C than it would be to paint the lower half? [There being no door jams to deal with, etc.]

To be honest - I'm not all that impressed with my ALL 'Silver Steel' SRT8. I think it looks dull and have been thinking of ways to make it stand out more. Your two-tone 300C has certainly given me 'food for thought'.

Craig!! :)

Thanks so much for the compliments; I will pass those along to my guys. It gives them great pleasure to know their hard work is appreciated.

Yes, from a labor standpoint, it is easier (and thus less expensive) to 2 tone the top half.

I have a few other pics (by no way all inclusive!) posted of other cars we have done here:

The silver makes for a great blank canvas!!

It will happen soon!

What do you think would be the best color with the Brilliant black?

I was thinking a deep red/maroon color, or silver...

What do you think?

It may be happening sooner than you think! ;)

Can you give me a ballpark figure on the cost for a quality job on the top half?

I'm amazed that you have dealers that will spend the money on that, especially since mods like that can't be added to the residual value of the car. Meaning you can't lease a car with these mods unless you pay for them separately. Sales of Magnums and even Chargers are off here in the Northeast and with Christmas just around the corner, I haven't found any dealers willing to spend that kind of money

Both good choices for your car; I was thinking we go off the hook with it. We will sit down with some color cards & brainstorm when you are ready, I have some ideas...:thumbs_u:

Dealers around here do not do leases on customized vehicles. There is however, some very creative financing to get people into these cars. We were at a lull on these cars until the '07's hit; no Dealer wanted to dump coin into a '06 so late in the year.

Okay... there has to be one dissenter here! :) It may just be a photo issue, but I'm really not getting into that combo on the 300C. It could also just be the wheels... they would definitely not be my choice. But, I'm certain the quality of work is excellent, and, since I'm not buying it, my opinion doesn't matter any way!

Just kidding, buddy, it has been awhile since I got to bust on ya'! :thumbs_u:

I agree; I think that color combo is getting a little played out, but it still is nice. The BMW pearl paint really ~PoPs~. I am not a fan of black wheels; but it was built to sell, not built to please me, and, like you said, we are not buying it, so what does our opinion matter!

I love that look! But here's a question for you....if you were doing a similar job on a Magnum that had black window molding instead of the chrome moldings on that 300, would you lower black/red transition to cover those black moldings or keep the lines as they are on the 300? I just think those balck moldings might stand out as being lower than the rest of the black stuff on the Magnum. I would be interested in your opinion. Thanks.

Absolutely lower the line to correspond with the black moldings. As you said, the transition would look strange if you didn't.
