OK, well not really, but that is what nickname the car ended up with, after the customer gave us his "to do" list!

Love the look aside from the tacky stick-ons (vents on fender, vents on rear doors, and spears)... did he REALLY ask for those??
Nice paint and doors though!

Yeah, I mean the doors and paint are awesome, but all that stick-on stuff...Blech. Just my opinion though, and we all know what those are like.

Yeah, I hear you guys! But if we only sold what we liked, and not what the customer wants, then we wouldn't be in business all too long, huh. :)

Funny story... When I was going up to Seattle to see the MNF Seahawks game, I stopped by Chris's shop, to say hi.
Driving from I5 to his shop, we pull up behind THIS 300C!! All my friend and I could say was... Damn... He has been to Pep Boys 1 too many times....
It was almost like, every stickon option you could find, he put on.. The stick on chrome tail lights.
But we keep following, and he pulls up to Chris's shop as well... And he is looking at the lambos..
We BS with Chris for a bit... And when we are leaving, all we could think.. Yeah. thats what that 300C needs... Lambos... :) I guess he put em on!

Nice looking ride. Blows me away how people spend thousands to trick out their car, only to run it with some really cheap looking stick on stuff.

paint is nice!
with the side moldings on and the spears on as well, not digging that. if the side moldings would come off, i think it would look better!
car looks pretty darn good though!

clean work but the mods are sh!t, if it had normal (notgay) doors and was debaged, shaved and bagged it could be a decent ride. The stick on sh!t is lame
Bandit
01-07-2007, 07:48 PM
Yeah, I'm sure it was the [gay] doors that killed the look huh?

i think you can go to most any automotive forum except rice forums and lambos will be hated on all day long even in alot of mags they get hated on. I said the quality of work was great im not hating on that because you as a shop are paid to build peoples visions not your own, the fact that the owner of this car has autozone on speed dial isnt your fault

Negative..They are hated by immature kids on those forums who cannot afford them.

who cant afford them? Im a design engineer and make enough to live comfortably plus I can get the lsd kits from my own company for cost and you still couldnt pay me to put them on my car. Its just not my style, its ricey, im into the "mini truck" style of builds with clean body lines, shaved slammed and clean looking appearence. the gouty design of it isnt appealing to me thats just my .02

I did not say you could not afford them. I said those kids on the forums that bash them. Mini trucks have them plenty too.

they can afford them too minis arent cheap even tho they look like ass, ive built plenty and alot of the work is making it look like nothing was ever done to it. i guarntee you will never see a cover truck on minitruckin with lambos ever ever, some s10 kids have them because they think that their trucks are civics so they rice them out but generally they are disliked bcause they dont flow with the vehicle at all and just look somewhat tacky especially on trucks and large cars that arent sporty to begin with. i could see them being installed on mabey an acura nsx or something but the cool factor isnt there for me, i would have opted to skip the bolt on lambos and do some real custom stuff with a suicide rear doors.

Look grounded... you don't have to like what other folks do to their ride... but there is a way of saying that without insulting them... Even a simple I don't like it is much better than saying that looks like crap, and anyone that installs that is crap.
I think I count 5 members that posted in here that you've potentially insulted being that they have the LSD's installed.

the last one was the s10 "ricer" style (even tho its a ranger) i was talking about the middle one is a clean suicided mini that is bad ass with a 22ret most likely, and the first one is a lowrider and we dont know why they do what they do , ie fully gold plated chassis components including screws. The middle one is the only feature truck out of the 3 because its really clean looking i mean its a sick ride rhd, shaved, body dropped, blown, suicided
i also just notice the last link, as you see its a s10 like i said in my previous post, you can see all those guys in the racing section of s10forum.com, they like to race thair 2.2 or 4.3l motors like there some sort of hot rod.

but on a side note they may think my car is gay and thats ok its just on opinion and there like a$$holes, everone has them and they all stink. I never said the installer was crap i did nothing but praise his work i said a couple of times that it was really clean work but the mods themselves suck but being in that buisness doesnt give you creative freedom trust me i know about it, my friends shops are getting a ton of work building "donks" and the HATE it with a passion but it pays a ton of money to lift a caprice 3" to stuff 28s on it you gotta pay the bills some how like it or not.

That’s a good price for LSD doors.. I paid 1600 plus shipping ($150) and it took two months. I understand grounded.. I think some took his writing to hard he just needs to be a little more sensitive in voicing his opinion. I dont like the LSD Doors either they pick up to many Korean girls then the Dragon... is packed with Korean Girls... kind of sucks! If you can really sale the LSD doors that cheap then you should help some forums members out that like to add crappy mods... like me... on their rides Im not hating im smiling...

you sure about that, the scene is bigger then ever and i could make a list a mile long that are in cali alone along with a list of shows and cruises that are all trucks from now until resolutions 2007 at the very end of the year. If you dont believe me throw up a topic up on www.streetsourcemag.com (http://www.streetsourcemag.com) most of the cover trucks you see are owned by members on this site and out of all of them CA, NV, AZ are in it the most. The scene has changed and progressed from 14s and air shocks to some crazy stuff now like body dropped nissans on 22s and all sorts of stuff. sbg8a_JRgV0
its still as big as ever and growing.

hmmmmm....dare not say if we all shoved our wants and opinions on others we wouldn't have this very diverse and great forum for car enthusiasts to gather? Perhaps lose the sharing of knowledge and ideas for improving our current plain jane vehicles? I'm not a fan of the stick on pieces myself but to each their own. I like the lambo doors on some cars and the LX line of vehicles look nice with them added. Some don't like the lambo doors, 20" or larger chrome rims and tires, audio/video upgrades et al. but once again "to each their own". A simple "I don't like it because I'm not into lambo doors" won't be seen as an insult. But to respond with terms such as "gay, ugly, crappy et. al." aren't warranted. Magnum keep up the custom work for the customers and sharing the pics. Bandit your ride looks sweet with the lambo doors and color matched tails.

Mini-trucks? I'm old enough and have a real job now. So I buy cars with real engines and I do what I want to them, including lambo doors. I actually don't have them, but the wife likes them so I might do it this year.
And yes, in 1994 I did have a 4.3L V6 S-10. Notice I said 1994.

btw those rims on the ram bend to all hell from MA potholes so i got some 22" panther realm's from a buddy with gforce ta tires 285/35 front and im getting something like 335 or 305 wide in the rear which will also require a narrowed axle and im thinking about reclipping it and sfbding it but there are only 24 hours in a day and i have no more summer vacations like i did in high school and in college.
