Anyone have a pic of a black grille (either the ABS versions being sold on EBay and elsewhere or a black chrome version) on the dark blue 2006 300C? I just purchased the new car, and it's a little too "bling bling" for me, but before I go the route of having a shop paint part or all of the grille, or buying a replacement, I was hoping someone might share a pic of what their efforts turned out to look like...
Thank you in advance
Pete

Go to the Spraypaint section down a ways on the main page.
Post a picture of the front end of your car, and a picture of a grill that you would like to see in black.
Somebody should be able to photoshop an image for you. There are great photoshop people on this site!
Check it out!

I think that would look sweet!! Many BMW and Mercedes owners black out the grills exactly as you're thinking. Here's a pic of a blacked out grill on an E46 M3. I hope this helps a little. :)

Hey Pete, this is Hector, your salesman!
Good to see you in this site, I can probably do that for you since I'm a graphic designer
BTW, sorry I missed your call earlier today but I'll give you a call tomorrow!

Personally I think the chrome looks better on the navy blue 300's. I have that light green color with a black grille on mine...you have to go all the way stealth to pull of the black...rims, lights, tint, etc. It's too much chrome on the car to just do the grille black.
