I think Rob_AGD and I are gonna go Sunday instead, since it's listed as a tune and test day, all day. I know I just want time runs and not brackets and a show like take place on Sat.

Alright Guys I am one of the closest (Waldorf) to the track. Here is a plan for those coming from VA. Pick a time (gates open early and show judging is 10:00 - 1:00), there is a Best Buy on 301 in Waldorf, we could meet there and continue from that point. Easy directions to Best Buy - Over the Woodrow Wilson bridge South on 210 towards Indian Head (10 mls), cut over at Route 228 to Waldorf 7 miles or so to the Best Buy) I can be reached at (301) 775-7045. Anybody who is interested in this idea either post to thread or give me a call, If we show up in a group we can get an entire section to ourselves, they accomodate clubs with no problem.

Sure hope you guys come, the Old School Mopars will be out in force.

Yep, Best Buy and Circuit City are right across the street from each other at the 5/301 join.

Whats funny is that CC had a 2 foot sign right until BB built their store, then they went to a 10 foot sign to match.

Well the DR's made it to the front door but I got busy today and wasn't able to get them mounted. Looks like I will be at PepBoys getting my damn tires mounted at 0800! Then heading down. See you guys there.

Just back from MIR. Good news is I took home a show trophy. Bad news is I didn't have one run in the 13s all day. 14.097 @ 100.4mph was the best of three runs. It was a warm day but thought I'd do much better. LXs represented well at show time. Out of 101 cars we took home 4 trophys. We had about a dozen there. Strykker took one for his Magnum and two 300s won as well. Well done!

Man, it was great having a few fellow LX'ers to hang with today.http://www.300cforums.com/forums/images/smilies/new/grouphug.gif There must have been 6 or 7 running today. I will have to post some pics tomorrow....still on my buds camera.

Overall great weather for hangin out but not so nice for running the cars unfortunately. It got a lot warmer/stickier than I would have thought for November. I see everyone was off of their times a bit. My best for the day (with DR's) ended up being a 13.52 @ 104.09http://www.300cforums.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif which was only bested by the Black Charger SRT8 mentioned above (13.3 @ 106).

The 245-40-18 drag radials did the job nicely and rewarded me with consistent 1.92, 1.93 short times..no spin at all and brought rpms up to 5700 in 3rd gear crossing the finish line. Not the 1.8's I was looking for but they hooked like hell even at a 2200rpm load and stomping on it. Still...not much better than my on again off again 1.97s on the SRT8/RSA combo but I will take the consistency any day since it is key to figuring out what works/doesn't on these cars.

Great time...good to meet you guys. I was pretty surprised the late model cars did so well in the car show. 2 Magnums and 2 300C's made the top of the show. Chris, I think I am going to roll up to M&G up near Bel Air, MD on Saturday. PaCharger keep me posted on the Test and tune dates you may attend. Got my show fix now time to work on the performance tuning.

Hey, I recognise that GoManGO Charger Strykker!! :mrgreen: Awesome pics everyone. (Mine will be up soon) It was really nice meeting up with you guys. I had an awesome time yesturday. How about Bunny and that new funny car? Man, the ground shook. On her second run she ran in less than 6 seconds and I think 247 MPH! Imagine what she will run when they get that thing all tuned and tweeked. :racing:
