View Full Version : I've got fur on my door....

I'm getting more familiar with the 300 and noticed yesterday something odd. If I look at my interior door panels there is a section that looks like an "L" that wraps from the lower door up to the side.

On the Driver and both rears, this is a plastic piece that appears well, plastic. On the passenger side it is covered in this fur or carpeting. This seems odd to me. Perhaps the interior door panel was replaced? Or maybe i'm going crazy but can you confirm for me what is the difference between the carpeted and non carpeted paneling?

That is peculiar -- is that for all 300's? Indeed, that is odd . . .

my 300 has 'fur' on all doors..

I've seen the "fur" on the 300SRT8, but that was on all 4 doors.

My Magnum, is shaved smooth, no fur on the lower parts.......... sorry, couldn't resist

Fur on one side, and shaved one the other...best of both worlds if you ask me!

So I guess this means then that my mid-line car happens to have a door panel from a "C" or an SRT8... Now I can say my car has modz! Hmmm, I don't know if I should complain or not.... I can tell the GF that it's custom for her??
