Installed New Winter Tires and Rims...
Had the winter rims and tires installed last night. I watched from the sidelines and they did a great job, balancing, installation, and the price was the best I could find.
The 18" rims fit with only a hair to spare in clearing the brake calipers on the front. See photo....
I went with a staggered set up, TSW Thruxtons 18x8" w/Nokian WR SUV Vspec 235/60/18 front, and, 18x9.5" w/Nokian WR V Spec 255/55/18 on the rear. I really like the 9.5 wide rim. Looks LARGE!

I'll second that, very tight...
FYI -
Also, I installed these without the wheel sensors. No TPM codes all the way home last night and my EVIC was indicating 4 good readings.
I thought that perhaps the system kept the last known values? Then I realised I had my 4 factory rims and tires in the back seat, if this makes a difference (I thought the system was passive and required relative movement beteen the sensor and the pickup???) I'm not an expert by any means...
Today however, I did get TPM codes. The system would peep once and then the tire (!) inflation warning signal would flash on the dash for about 1 minute then go away. The car now does this once every 15 minutes or so... Not that annoying... I am going to look for a fuse...
Open to suggestions....

Thanks!
I have the painted splash guards on the front and the rears are in my trunk. The rear units do not mount flush because of the SRT8 lower bumper fairing? I trial fit them on but there is a 1/4" gap up top (Looks sloppy...) I think I will try and trim them to see if I can get them to fit tighter before I install them??
Any suggestions...

so you didnt need a spacer right? this is the style i've been leaning towards after i saw them in adams thread.. only because these ones will be very easy to clean on the inside... from the outside..
and well, they really show off the brembos :)
but since that is my color, i've just made up my mind... thanks marmaduke.. mine go on order tomorrow!!
one question though.. with the 9.5 inch wide rear.. what can you fit for width come summer time if a guy wanted to put some slicks on them.. could you go 295's?? just curious thats all..
thanks again

ALSO.... what is the offset on these wheels?

The offset is +20 both front and rear. As for a tire size that will fit, I am not sure. With this offset it is very close to being flush with the outter edge of the fender. Perhaps a +35 would work better. Personally I like the wide stance look as it is...
The reason I went with the 9.5 inch rear rims was for the same reason your thinking. I have a rim that will fit a nice sized slick, just in case...
Cheers!
