Have a 2006 Charger Daytona R/T Top Banana. I want to put these on Niche F-18 20x8.5 fronts and 20x10 rears. I've read this possibly could be done without rubbing. Anybody have any specific knowledge?
Thanks! Barry

I have those sizes on my Magnum too. Even while lowered w/ Eibach Prolines, I have no rubbing issues.

hey factory D, you said you have those wheels and you have no rubbing but do you have those tires sizes as well and no rubbing with it lowered? the reason i ask is that on another thread about putting a 295 40 20 on the rear the guy had it lowered and he said he had quite a bit of rubbing with the 295 40 20 in the rear, he said almost anytime he had more than 1/2 tank of gas or any weight in the rear he had rubbing and when he hit bumps or in hard corners. he had rubbing. let me know. we just did a 275 40 20 in the front and a 315 35 20 in the rear and since the 315 35 20 is about 6/10s of an inch less in overall diameter and closer to the original size of 225 60 18 they might be a better choice. but you gotta have the right offset to handle that wide meat. on that 10 inch wide wheel, it needs to be around +30mm. i have posted the pics we took in the link below. scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a gray magnum R/T with the chrome 20 inch 300C SRT8 wheels we sell that has a 275 40 20 on the front and a 315 35 20 on the rear.

yep...the Hotchkis-drop creates a rub when cornering hard. I can take pictures of the little shavings off my tires if need be...But I'm sure you get the idea. It's the O.D. that is getting me.....

Wow! Those are monstrous Billy! I can't imagine that's recommend, but more importantly - is it safe?

I am at stock height and running 275 40 20 in all corners.
Have had no problems and OD is close to stock.

I put 275-45-20 Toyo Proxes S/T on the front of my SRT with stock wheels and suspension and there was constant rub from the A-arm. Lucky I was planning on putting them on the back anyway.

Thanks for everybody's thoughtful replies. Turns out the Niche wheels are not the right fitment (my local tire guy was wrong). I am going with the same setup RobAGD uses, Foose Nitrous 20x8.5 with 265/45 20 and 20x10 with 295/40 20. My R/T is not and will not be lowered, so this should be fine. I considered the 315/35 20, but that requires a 20x10.5 which is not available in the Foose Nitrous.
