Aloha All,
New to this forum, been a member of CustomMagnums.com for awhile now. Does anyone know of a local club, I'm in the dark. Give a holler. Both my wife and me have Magnum R/T's and would like to get involved.

I live in Mililani Mauka, got a red SRT8 Maggy. I've seen a couple of SRT8 300s, and a bunch of SRT10 Rams. We should do a G2G.

Hey all, I completely agree that we should get a Magnum club going here, I would be down for just about anything. If anyone wants too get together PM me with your digits and I'll (We Will) see what we can do. Then we can put out a date and invite all, I think thats the only way to get the ball rolling. Sorry, been going early in the AM to Late night at work lately. Think we could cook up something in the way of a g2g for the mid november time frame. post what would be good. I'm thinkin something in the central oahu area, fire up the grills, talk story, tip a few, and show off the cars. What say?

Sounds good, lets settle on a spot, do a mass round-up of LX owners. One of the guys I work with is a member of the Charger Forum, he is going to do a post on that forum to invite them and put the word out. I think a pot luck thing would work best as far as grinds go. Once we all gather we can talk about a cruise. First things first though lets get the Owners and Cars together and say "Whassup". From that point we could maybe even decide to form a car club of some sort, I'm sure lots of folks have ideas and desires, but we really need to all get in one spot and talk. Theres strength in numbers as far as a club would go, we may be able to get breaks on prices/shipping and there would always be someone to help out with projects that the members have going on as well as plenty of free advice. I think it would be a win win for everyone especially since the Magnum, 300, and Charger all share the same parts, the only real difference is body panels.
Thats my 2 cents, so now I'm off the soap box.

Yeah I agree with you on that. We should just gather up as many people as we can that own a LX, then we can talk about other plans for the future.

I was thinking about making small fliers of some sort and put on parked cars but then I also thought "would I want someone putting this on my car?". So I'm not sure how else the word would spread other than by word of mouth. I've got about 5 or 6 LX within a 5 block radius. Hopefully they'll all be interested.

Do you think the fliers would be fine if business card style? Event info on front then contact numbers on the back. Feedback appreciated.

Yeah, I know that I personally would not mind a card or even flier left on my windshield. Dennis, what do you think about Richardson Field Cabana for a spot? If not there I was thinkin bout Sand Island Park. Do you think you could reserve the cabana at richardson? I know I could but Active duty guys get preferance over us retirees. PM me if you want with your digits so we can talk and meet up, we both work on the same base, maybe we could do a lunch thing soon.

When I was part of Dodge Truck WOrld, We started off using fliers. It showed our trucks lined up, where someone can locate us and a phone # they can call to find out the details. Then we made business cards. I think the business cards would be a better idea...

Lookin good, Does anyone have any ideas for the spot to hold this shindig at? Dennis, probably give you a shout tonight to see whats shakin. BTW, on Nov 1st (Wed) my wife was getting off of H-1 at sand island, at the first light, where you continue or turn to sand island access road. She was stopped at that light and some stupid broad in a grand vitara apparently decided to save on break wear and tear. She plowed into the back of Sharons car and pushed her into the car in front of her, Totally F***ed the rear bumper, exhaust, front bumper and grill. Sharon said she was so mad she wanted to perform bodily harm on the BIchon. So now its the repair shop for estimates and repairs. Too bad, she loves that car sooooo much, only had it for 4 months and then this.

Alright everone, just posting here to let everyone know that this thread is still alive and well. Dennis 808 and I are gettin together tomorrow for lunch and to talk about the whats and wheres. See what we can cook up and then post a date, time and place. hope we can get lucky enough to do all three well enough that we get everyone to show up, if even for a short time. the hardest part will be the first time and then after that its all gravy. One of us will post here real soon with the details. If you have druthers let it be known now. Thanks and hope to meet all of you soon.

sOK, Aloha everyone. Dennis808 and I got together today, here is what we came up with. Sunday Nov 19th 11am start time at Sand Island Park. Hope this works out for everyone. Pot luck kind of shindig, bring a cooler of your favorite cold beverage and show off the rides, get to know everyone and talk story. I hope that everyone can make it out there that day. no sense we wait any longer, even if you can only make it for a short time, come on by and say hello.
