Dodge Magazine/Challenger

Got my new issue of Dodge Magazine (Fall/Winter) today, has a layout on the new Challenger in it. Good news: They are building it, Bad news: will be out in 2008.

To make the Challenger, they chopped out 4 inches from the LX wheelbase, increased the width by 4 inches and lowered it by 1.2 inches.
Five spoke wheels, 20 inch in the front, 21 inch in the rear (all models?).

There will be an SRT model, breathing thru a hood scoop and ducted to a low restriction air filter. 425 HP and 420 lbs of torque, via a 6 speed manual trans.

Does it said how many models that Challenger will have? More details, please? :)

The magazine article does not mention what kind of trim levels or models, that will be available with the Challenger.

Kind of looks like there will only be an R/T and SRT model.

I like the Dodge mag too. Honestly, the mag doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know about the Challenger. It's not very specific in terms of trims, options, etc. It's for those folks that aren't as diehard as we are and have never even heard about it.
